Michelle Moreland, Lazule Sea Spa - Helped me greatly with 3 different packages: (spa services for my fiance and I on Thursday May 22nd, hair & makeup trial on Friday May 23rd, and my entire Bridal Party with me, the Bride, 4 Bridesmaids, and 2 Moms, a total of 7 people for hair and makeup on Saturday May 24th, the day of our wedding; as well as helped me organize to have breakfast delivered to the Salon, and Champagne and Orange Juice)!!

Now, this review is strictly only about hair styling & makeup application services at this salon. I do believe they are first & foremost a spa, not a salon; but this is a review I would have like to have when I was deciding on hair & makeup for our wedding. We were married at the Marriott St. Thomas, so I decided to have my bridal hair & makeup done here as well as the hair & makeup for my sister, my maid of honor. The hairstyles we chose were fairly simple, not updos, and in all honestly, we, along with my other bridesmaids, could have done these ourselves in the hotel room; it was nothing fancy. So I can't comment on how well they would do with more elaborate up-dos. As far as makeup application, they are clearly not professional makeup artists. They only offers MAC products & a limited amount, so if that brand doesn't work for you, find somewhere else. With that being said, I was surprised that they didn't do any highlighting/contouring, no brows, no setting powders used, no eyeliner and the lipstick application was not great. Basically, we ended up redoing the majority of our makeup & touching up our hair back in the hotel room. Luckily, we are pretty skilled at makeup & made it work. The hair & makeup for two people, including gratuity was $380.00 .. so not worth it. For the price, I think you could hire a professional makeup artist to come to you & do your makeup.
