About

I'm Kaard Bombe, owner of kb films. I do all sorts of work across Arizona and California, ranging from ASU Research to ESPN and MLB Network, but weddings are one of my favorite things to shoot. The raw emotions, joy and love, and great atmosphere of the wedding day is something that very few enviornments bring, and I love every second of it.

I believe that my role as a videographer at your wedding is to capture the little moments that truly make your day special. I have a documentary/journalistic background and shooting style, and I am in my zone when I can work with you and your photographer to capture the details and the moments as they happen throughout your big day.

I shoot on a Canon 5D Mark3, own multiple L-series lenses, and have a varitey of professional audio and lighting equipment. I also don't offer packages; let's discuss what you need and work together to find the balance of price and serive that works best for you. Whether you're just looking for a few hours of reception or a full 10-12 day, I'd love to be there!

If you like my stuff and want to get in touch, plese drop me a note and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

We hired Kaard to film our wedding. We were married June 21, 2014. It is almost 5 months, and we have not yet received our DVD! Kaard was very responsive up until the wedding, and even a few weeks later. We sent our song selections within a week or two after our wedding, and he emailed back that we "rocked" as a couple (smoke and mirrors). The last correspondence from Kaard (KB Films) was on August 18th when he emailed about 100 out of sequence 10 second random shots of our wedding. He promised the finished project once he returned from the Mushroom Festival. I noticed on his web site (which the domain has expired and the site is currently down) that he posted the Mushroom Festival footage/pictures, so he returned from his trip safely. I can't understand why he would deceive us. After approximately 20 emails and six phone calls - still no response. Brides beware! We are now without a video and looking at taking him to small claims court to recover the deposit and the balance the day of the wedding (we paid in full). It isn't about the money, we are anguished about not having a video of one of the most important events of our life.

I really wish I didn't have to give Kaard zero stars, but I have to. While he was responsive before and up to the wedding (which thankfully he showed up to), I have not heard a word from him since July 28th. At that time, he had been fully paid, song choices provided, and had indicated my husband and I would have all of our footage by the end of the week. Note that our contract had mentioned we would have at least our raw footage within 30 days of the event (05/10/2014), which we had not received, but since I had been promised all of our edited footage before the end of the week, I didn't mind. Today is September 5 and I have tried emailing Kaard six times, along with three phone calls, since that last email and he will not respond. I have no choice but to give him zero stars and warn other brides to hire someone else. As of now, we are out the full payment and we do not have any video footage of our wedding.
