About
Set in 50,000 sqm of the countryside, amid almond trees and olive groves, the Sa Torre today combines the best elements of the island's rural tradition and with the modern-day luxuries of a 5-star hotel.
Although no longer consecrated, the Sa Torre's Gran Cristiana Chapel provides an impressive location for civil weddings and renewal of vow ceremonies. Built between 1841 and 1874, it is larger than many of the village churches on the island, and one of the largest private chapels in Spain. It is Neo-gothic in style, octagonal in shape, and has a hexagonal apse. The main facade features a statue of the Virgin Mary with two angels in attendance.
Other Sa Torre venues in which to celebrate this important occasion include The traditional 15th-Century windmill, and the garden courtyard surrounding it; and the elegant Salon Ses Bóvedes, with its vaulted ceiling and capacity for up to 120 banquet guests, which also opens onto the courtyard. For banquets for up to 200 people, an ideal venue is the Gaspar de Villalonga Room.
The hotel's wedding planner offers a personalised consultancy service and will arrange a pre-wedding tasting menu for six, as well as freshly picked flower centrepieces on each table at the wedding banquet.
Other special touches for the bride and groom include complimentary wedding night in the Junior Suite, a couples' massage and, as a contribution to the honeymoon, a complimentary night at one of the Hilton hotels in Spain.
