About Us
The Gypsy Cat Project is an ongoing musical project, founded by Johann & Jessica Price, musicians and graduates from the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Both have been trained in various styles of music and have performed for all types of venues and events. Johann Kyle Price is a guitarist of all genres, and also plays sitar and lap steel. He was raised in a recording studio by KBBluez in Pennsylvania in the early years of his life. He was taught by classical guitarist Frank Michael Flandorffer. Johann has performed in various types of ensembles including Latin, renaissance, jazz, classical rock, blues, Celtic, and country, and was also the lead guitarist for the band Pryer. He is predominately the composer, audio technician and recording extraordinaire of GCP using Ubuntu Studios. Jessica Rose Price is first and foremost a violist, but is also proficient in voice, and piano. She is the proud owner of an acoustic classical viola, and also a very rare five string electric viola, which allows her to play both violin and viola parts on a single instrument. She was classically trained by Professor Paul Windt of Muhlenberg College for six years. She was second chair violist of the Richmond Philharmonic in Richmond, Virginia and is also the web-master and marketing agent for GCP. The Gypsy Cat Project strives to break down musical barriers and perform beautiful music for any venue. We can improvise, arrange, and compose in all musical varieties, perfect for any wedding or commitment ceremony and reception! |
