I brought in my wedding and engagement ring because arthritis caused me to not be able to wear them anymore. I first spoke with a store employee about what I wanted, then send a number of photos to give a sense of the style I wanted. I went back and met with the owner who gave me a photo and with whom I talked details about what I wanted. I found it hard to communicate with her; she was very technical and it was not always clear that we understood each other, and frankly, she seemed annoyed with my lack of knowledge. I also had a family heirloom in rough shape but which I loved. We decided not to incorporate that ring because I loved it so much, but to clean it up and "fix" it as best as we could because, according to her it was "totaled." I got a phone call asking about size of additional stones I was having put in ny new ring, and told it would take up to 3 weeks for both to be finished. I got a call 3 weeks later that my heirloom was ready to be picked up, and when I asked about my other ring, they told me it would be another week or so. A week later (maybe a few days less) they called and told me my new custom ring was ready. When I picked it up, I was shocked as it did not look at all like the picture we agreed upon, or anything I had sent as examples of what I wanted. A phone conversation with the owner was tense and difficult; again, she speaks very technically and did not seem to care that I was unhappy with the ring I had just invested my 2 wedding rings and a substantial amount of money into. I feel that the owner is very young and lacks the finesse to deal with someone who does not have a lot of understanding of the details and specifics with jewelry making, and would not recommend having something "designed" for you. She did not seem to have a sincere desire to please, and looking back, I never felt that she was really understanding, or trying to understand what I wanted. The ring, however, is beautiful quality, altho much to "blingy" for my taste and nothing like the styles I tried to convey. It is well made and very good quality, so I would say her craftsmanship is very good, but her desire to please and communication lack to the degree that I am not a happy customer and regret haven chosen them.
