He was amazing! Played music according to the mood of the crowd! He was also very good with our hectic time schedule that was pushed back a little bit. Definitely recommending him to my friends!

Marc at Elegant Proposals Entertainment was our DJ for our wedding on 5/24/14 and he was awesome! I don't think the day would have gone nearly as well without him there! in addition to the very easy to use website tools he has for picking out music, I was able to call and talk to him when I had a question or talk through email, and he always responded very quickly. At the wedding he provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception; he arrived early in the day to set up his equipment and to ask me and my mom if there was anything we needed, right away he told us he was more than happy to be our go to man, which was awesome because the venue people fell short in that area. In addition to bringing all the music stuff he also brought a candy bar (which people loved way more than I thought they would, seriously what a huge hit that was!) and a Photo Booth (also a huge hit!) a BOGO light with our names in our colors (very pretty! and added an extra layer to the customized feel in the room) and uplighting also in our colors. He even brought an extra attendant to run the photo booth so that was great! throughout the evening he would stop over with me or my mom or my MOH and see if everything was going well, if there was something he could help get done... So when the venue failed to have to patio cleaned and welcoming for guests to use after the ceremony, Marc was able to talk to the event captain and get them on that! within a few minutes chairs were being reset up as promised!
Throughout the evening and after the wedding I have gotten nothing but complements on what an awesome wedding we had and how great the DJ was! Marc really is everything a bride could ask for!

Marc was one of the most professional people I have ever met. He was in constant contact with me and my wife throughout the wedding planning and was always there to help us during the actual wedding day. He helped answer any of the small and stupid questions to suggestions on what would also help make our wedding a memorable one. He was very people oriented and made sure that our guest were having a great time, he also took the time to find and play some of the songs that he didn't have on his song list and played them during the night. His prices were very reasonable and he will customize his packages to help suit you and your budget. He is a very easy person to talk to and very efficient with setting up his equipment and tearing down. One of the best around! Thank you Marc!

DJ marc is just everything a bride could ever ask for. he is the WHOLE package in ONE super nice cool dude. we had our wedding in november of 2012 and up to this point, whenever my wedding would come up in conversations with our friends, dj marc from elegant proposals always come up. i will never forget how he stepped up like nobody else that day.
before all these, the communication for the planning we had with dj marc was easy, fast and clear. he returned my calls and emails promptly and assured me the whole time that everything will be ok... he had amazing ideas and suggestions and was very helpful in answering my unending questions.
on our wedding day, he kept checking back with us to see if everything he had set up was up to our standards, he would periodically ask us if he could get us anything, what he can do and constantly remind us that if there is anything we need, to let him know. he kept all of our guests entertained with the music, i also love his voice when he makes those announcments, he is just full of fun and energy!
during our event, we encountered a little problem with one of our vendors, for some unacceptable reason, our event space/caterer ran out of ice. yes they did, i know! and for another stupid unacceptable reason, they were not able to provide anymore and told me that they were about to close down my open bar. as i was about to freak out, i turn and see dj marc and immediately asked me if everything was ok, i told him what was going on and he just answered me with "do not worry, i will take care of it." and next thing i know, he was driving to the nearest gas station and came back within 10 minutes with bags and bags of ice. he saved my open bar... he saved my night and he saved our wedding and it was not even in his job description to do so.

for me that just says a lot about him and how he loves what he does,,. and that's helping out brides like me to make her wedding as perfect and memorable as it can be

Marc was great! He took the time to understand our personalities and preferences. My ceremony music was prefect, and he had and played every song I requested. The photo booth was a big hit. I received the disc with all the photos the same night, they are so fun and a wonderful addition to our wedding memories. Months later I am still hearing how much everyone enjoyed my wedding.

Marc at Elegant Proposals did an excellent job keeping our reception going. He made adjustments through the evening that made everything flow perfectly and kept everyone entertained. All the guests commented that the music and flow of the reception were perfect. Everyone was out on the dance floor and had a great time. We were just sad when it was all over...wished it could have gone on longer!

Our guests felt welcomed and fully enjoyed being part of the wedding experience. The music was fun to dance to and everyone was continually, entertained the whole night. Even people I had never seen dance before got up on the dance floor! The Candy Bar was unique and a big hit; as well as the Photo Booth. The pictures taken at the photo booth were good quality and it looked like everyone had a great time posing in them. I’m only sorry I didn’t make it up to the photo booth myself!

This was by far the funnest DJ we have ever had the pleasure of using. Marc Smith was fantastic! He stayed away from all of the music that we told him we disliked. He is very organized and has a tool on his webite that allows you to build your music list, rate your songs (likes and dislikes) and put together a time frame for him to go off of. You can tell that he does this for fun and not for the money. He is very reasonably priced but I would have easily paid more for him. Not only does he do the music, he does uplighting as well. You can see testimonials on YOUTUBE as well! My husband and I were happy to submit one on his behalf!
