You will have to pick a wedding bouquet that fit you, and your wedding party, and the style and theme of your wedding. You should choose a bouquet that suits the body shape of you and your wedding party.
To get a sense what you like and don’t like start looking through bridal magazines. You can take a look at some of our photos available on this site. While browsing through the magazines and photos decide on the following things.
1. The colors you want?
2. What flowers you want?
3. The shape of the bouquet?
4. The size of the bouquet?
5. The type of greenery you want?
6. An, last but not less would you want fresh or silk flowers?
When you considering making your selection between fresh or silk flowers, just remember silk flowers are cheaper that fresh flowers but look just as good and can be kept after the wedding without preserving. One of the most important things to consider is choosing the right style for your body shape.
Shorter ladies should select a large teardrop or sheath bouquet because they need to add height. These two types of bouquets give the illusion of length, were as the posy would make you appear shorter.
Tall ladies should select a large posey or a medium teardrop bouquet. A large posey or medium teardrop will draw the eye down and give people a focal point so they won’t focus on your height and your height will look a little more even.
Larger ladies should select a large bouquet. A small bouquet will highlight you width and make you seem larger. A large bouquet will make you seem slimmer. The trick to choosing a bouquet is to select a shape that flatter you and not take the focus away from you. If you follow these guidelines and your feeling you can’t go wrong.
