My mother ordered cupcakes and a small round cake for my wedding. I wanted mini cupcakes and originally they said they could do it but that it would look "weird" on their cupcake stand which we would be using. So my mother went ahead and ordered normal size cupcakes. We also had an image that they said they could sugar print to put on the small cake. I called them a few weeks before the wedding to see if they could please do the mini cupcakes since I had a stand for them and assured them I was willing to pay extra, they refused, saying that they did not do those anymore. They delivered the cupcakes and cake while I was getting ready, so I did not see them until the reception when I was cutting the cake. The cupcakes were not what we ordered, they were supposed to be blue cake with white frosting and small blue pearls on top, these were white cake and white icing with little blue sprinkles. The small round cake had a badly hand drawn version of the image I wanted on the sides of the cake and on the top. There was not supposed to be anything on the top and the images looked ridiculous. It was supposed to be sugar printed, not hand drawn. The stand that they provided was extremely wobbly and almost fell during our cake cutting ceremony. If my photographer had not been holding it, it would have toppled my cake right onto the floor. When my mother went to return the cake stands and informed them that we were not happy with the products, they apologized for the misunderstanding and he said he did not realize we wanted it sugar screened. According to her, he said he would like another opportunity to help us and seemed very apologetic and sincere. I appreciate that, but that doesn't fix the fact that I had a horrible looking cake for my wedding and that's not something you can just go back and fix. I am giving them a 3 star for quality of service only because the cupcakes were delicious, and a 4 star for professionalism for how they handled our dissatisfaction.
