Ashley Sellen Design and Artistry is a wedding concierge company providing several beauty and fashion services including but not limited to: Special Occasion Makeup, Airbrush, Hair Styling, Custom Dress Design, Bridal Gown Alterations, Fashion Consulting/Personal Shopping, and Wedding Ambiance Design.  Our goal is to give the very best possible customer service and high-end quality to every customer.   We can customize your style to fit your every need and we provide on-location services.  Jennifer Sellen Welch, Head Formal Wear Fashion Designer and Artist, has a unique but glamourous, chic, timeless, and beautiful style.  Expect nothing less than to be gorgeous for your special day!

MAKEUP AND HAIR SERVICES AND PRICING

Bridal Full service package - $150 includes Hair, Makeup, Pre-wedding Trial run/consultation and on-location wedding day service
 
Attendants (Bridesmaids, Moms, any of your ladies in waiting) - $80 - Hair and Makeup on wedding day
 
Groom and Groomsmen - $40 - blemish control (neck and face), face brightening, and hair styling
 
Lashes - $10 extra
 
Airbrush foundation - $20 extra
 
Brow Reshape or Tweeze - $15 extra
 
 
*Additional Fees and Minimums may apply.  Please inquire with as many details about your wedding day and your needs that you can, and we will get back to you with the necessary information or questions to give you an accurate quote. 
 
Additionally, we offer professionally custom made bridal and bridesmaid gowns and alterations. Almost nothing is too difficult! Please inquire about a consultation and a fitting and we can do a cost estimate and evalution at that time.

I booked J. Ashley Sellen to do both my wedding makeup and also dress alterations, and she was fabulous on both counts! First makeup: I honestly didn't think it really mattered who did my makeup because makeup is just makeup, right? But Jennifer did magic! People told me all night long how great my makeup looked, and I continue to get compliments from people looking at the photos. I am not much of a makeup wearer, and I went out and bought some after the wedding because I was so inspired.

For the dress, it was a unique situation because the wedding and the dress were in Seattle, but I was in NY and wasn't going to be in town until two days before the wedding. Jennifer was so accommodating. We had a few meetings while I was in town, and she got the dress to fit perfectly in a very short turnaround time and did a very professional job.

In addition to being extremely good at what she does, Jennifer was also super prepared, which is a nice bonus to a bride on her wedding day. She even brought a steamer for the dress.

Overall, I can't recommend her highly enough. I found her completely by accident online, and I would return to her for any event.
