Absolutely nothing can capture your wedding day like a video! If you are getting married in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach or Perdido Key, let us capture your special day. We live right here in Gulf Shores and shoot video of some sort almost every day.
No matter who shoots your wedding video be sure of these things:
Microphones:
See that they use wireless microphones. One on the Groom and one on the Officiant as back up. Nervous Grooms often forget to turn their microphone on when the time comes. Shelter the microphones from the wind as much as possible.
Back-Up Camcorder:
Even if you are paying for a single camera shoot be sure they have a back-up. This is not something you can do a "Take Two."
Appoint someone to be sure that the videographer knows when something important is about to happen. At times they will be covering one thing and someone will start the cake cutting or other important events.
Reception Lighting:
You want the right mood lighting at the reception but remember that even though the new camcorders are much better in low light there are still limitations. Shooting in light that is too low will result in grainy video or the videographer will have to use on camera or other lights.
More:
Of course you also want to see samples of their work. You also want to know exactly what you will get and whether there might be any extras such as running overtime.
