My name is Melissa. I was born in raised in Richmond Virginia, and spent all my summers as a child visiting my relatives here in Paducah, Kentucky. Once I got older and had a family of my own I decided that Kentucky is the place to raise a family so in August of 2009 my children, husband and I packed up and made the 800 mile venture to the beautiful Bluegrass State. We love it here and now I am looking to establish a small business to give me something to do now that my children are in school. I have been married to my husband for 8 years, and I am a mother to 3 school age children who definately keep me on my toes. I discovered several years ago after a dear friend of mine asked me to help her plan her wedding just how much I enjoyed the planning process. I work great under pressure and with deadlines. I am super organized, and great at negotiating an affordable price. I am also very creative so I love to make crafts or assist in making things needed for weddings to help cut the I used to own and operate my own cleaning company, and I recently decided to venture into the world of wedding planning. I am not looking to become a millonaire by planning weddings I am just looking to make a little money doing something I enjoy doing.
