The story of our wedding

My husband and I met in New York 3 years ago while he was traveling from Paris. There was an instant connection and after meeting for just a few days we began a long distance relationship, myself in New York and him in Paris. Flash forward after a worldwide pandemic and closed borders, we got married in Paris October 8, 2022. Love has no borders.

The wedding was intimate with just family and a few friends, around 30 guests. We had our ceremony at the city hall just outside of Paris in a beautiful castle-like building and the reception on a boat that sailed around the seine of Paris with views of the Eiffel Tower so my family who traveled all the way from the US could take in Paris. The theme of the wedding was romantic with elements of dusty rose. Our table seating cards had a customized stamped sticker with a logo featuring the Eiffel tower as well as the cookies we gave away as party favors. For my dress I wanted something unique and different that showed off my curves and Wona concept had the perfect dress for me.
