9 Mar, 2019The story of our wedding
We met when we were both working at Walgreens. He was actually my boss! He had to be transferred to another store when they found out we were dating. My husband proposed by taking my to the middle on nowhere in Wisconsin where my dad lived. He took about 10 boxes of different sizes and placed them all in the smaller size box and wrapped them. So I had to unwrap ten boxes just to find another box inside! The final box had a roll of kleenex with a note saying you will need these soon and I looked to my left and he was down on one knee!
The wedding was a fairytale!! I truly felt like cinderella they way every girl wants to feel at least once in her life. My mother made the centerpieces. She did an amazing job. The year she was making it was difficult for her health wise. I will never forget she came out of the hospital and the first thing she did was start working on the centerpieces. A mothers love is truly amazing. My aunt hand stitched the women's favors to have our wedding date and initials on them. The mens favors was a little tuxedo gift holder, but inside was a piece of paper that read "In lieu of a wedding favor a donation has been made in your name to st. Judes". My favorite part of the wedding was knowing how many people loved me through there support of the wedding. For our first dance my husband played the first verse of "all of me" by john legend on the grand piano and then we finished with dancing to the song. We even had a dry ice machine to make it even more like a fairytale!! The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress made my day a fairy tale!
