The story of our wedding

PICTURE HEAVY!! We are Finally married! hello Ladies, So July 31st 2021 was the day that I have dreamed of my whole life. It was a dream come true, everything that I have thought it would be, and a day I will cherish my whole life. It was many years of saving, planning and doing diy projects. My Husband and I have been together since May 22 2012, got engaged July 18 2017, then we had our son in August 2017, we bought our house in March 2018 then decided it was time to get married ( I had been ready it was him waiting for the right time) lol. After worrying about restrictions with the covid the rules lifted before our date. We had so many people ( more than I thought) come. About 70ish I would say but anyways on with the story! The day went smoothly no drama, no complaints. The morning of the wedding me and the women got together we had a great time getting our makeup and hair done together at the venue starting around 8am. The guys got there around 1 to get ready. I ended up doing first looks with my mother, father, step dad, 2 brothers and of course my future husband at the time. Also, if your having a rough time picking a day of gift a boudoir book was a perfect gift for giving :) It was great getting pictures of every moment and getting to look back at them to see the look on their faces. I had a surprise for my step dad as he was there for rehearsal and didn't have any idea till it was time for me to walk down the aisle day of our Wedding day. My dad walked down the aisle and told my step dad I needed him before I walked down the aisle when he got to me he asked was was wrong. I told him to grab an arm that he helped raise me half of my life. Boy did it make his day! To whoever is on the fence of doing a first look with their significate other do it! I thought that it was going to take away from them seeing you coming down the aisle as their soon to be wife it didn't. We did our first dance ass husband and wife, then the other dances i also added a step dad dance also. It relived some anxiety and he will show his feelings ( as Travis said he wouldn't tear up but did) it was great! The day went by so fast it was like I arrived at the venue that morning then was giving guest hugs as they was leaving. I had people telling me every moment was great, the food was great and that they didn't want to leave! About everyone was feeling good and dancing ( some of my family anyways as Travis's kind folks aren't dancing people) but as the night went on and after the photographer left that's when everyone started to party. I'm not complaining though everyone had a great time. Like I said I will cherish that day and photos a lot it was the best day ever! Sadly my father in law passed away on September 2 2021. The Worst day of our lives. Our sons BEST friend who is only 4 years old. We are so thankful to have had him as apart of our wedding ( my husbands best man). We are so so blessed to have had him be the person to bless our rings. Please I know you want your wedding to go a certain way (some didn't go as planed) but please remember don't get rude or take it out on people bc u never want to live with what you said or did while you was under stress as you never know if something will happen to someone.
