The story of our wedding

On Sunday, September 15 Tim and I got engaged at the Trevi Fountain just two hours after landing in Rome. After exploring the city a bit we decided to get lunch. Once we got to the restaurant I was surprised by our parents and siblings. I was in such shock that I just assumed they were here to celebrate our engagement with us. Not too long after soaking in the fact that our families were there I was told that I would be getting married later the same week and that Tim and our families already took care of everything! (I had no clue about the engagement or wedding but I definitely had my fingers crossed that I would leave Italy with a Fiancé). I quickly asked my sister to be my Matron of Honor and took a long shot by immediately asking my best friend since second grade to be my Maid of Honor. Within 30 minutes Gabby sent me a screen shot of her flight ALL THE WAY TO ROME! (I will definitely owe her for this later). On September 19, 2019 I got to marry the man of my dreams, my best friend. I am beyond happy and grateful that I got to say “I do” in front of all the people I love the most. Monti Palace Hotel did an amazing job with our reception meal! We even had a private wine tasting a few days before to pick out all of our wines. I wish I could go back in time and relive that week.
