The story of our wedding
My husband and I were married in an intimate ceremony with just us and his family. We were married by a local JP in the backyard of my in-law's home. We had a budget of $500, and I believe we fell under it. I did hair, bouquets, and garters myself. I ended up having my makeup done professionally. It had speakers and an MP3 player setup, the family was armed with cellphones and caught all the special moments on video and photo. After the ceremony, we enjoyed a cookout ( hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken along with side dishes). My mother-in-law also baked desserts that included chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting and silver sprinkles that were in place of wedding cake. We had the most beautiful day and weather.
