The story of our wedding

Our wedding was at Chapel in the Pines in Sycamore, IL which features a Victorian chapel on a private family estate that has hosted weddings since 1994! We shared this momentous milestone in our relationship with 70 family members and friends. The colors were royal blue, white, and silver and the overall total came to a little over $15,000 (which for 2023 we feel was a success)! The estate featured the chapel, bridal cottage, and banquet hall all on-site.

My favorite moment was walking down the aisle to my husband with the chapel doors opening at the chorus of a piano cover of "Golden Hour" by The Piano Guys (original artists JVKE). I also enjoyed the speech from our parents, dancing to Cupid Shuffle with our guests, and the delicious red velvet cake baked by my godmother.

The biggest hit of the night by far according to our guests was the photo booth from my dad's company Enchanted Mirror Photography. Many of our guests had never seen a photo booth that had a touchscreen mirror. In addition to chocolate candy as a favor, guests were able to immediately print the photos from the booth. It was a day I will always remember!
