The story of our wedding

It all started at the Miranda Lambert Kip Moore concert, June 10th, 2016. That is the day I met my husband! Robbie is 6’4” and good looking! I made it a point to talk to him that night, and from that day forward, we have been together. Robbie proposed to me over my birthday weekend in Asheville, and get this, it was on his parents anniversary! How sweet and special! As soon as we got engaged I started planning. My mom is retired and when I say we became obsessed planning my wedding, we became obsessed! We planned for a total of 10 months. It was absolutely PERFECT! We got married on September 29, 2018 at Cedar Grove Acres. Cedar Grove Acres is a very old farm turned into a wedding venue. The place is beautiful! The day was magical and honestly was the Best Day Ever! My mom had a great idea, since Robbie wasn’t much of a dancer, why don’t ya’ll get married at noon and have lots of fun things to do outside like cornhole boards and a photo booth bus. We did get married at noon, our cocktail hour consisted of bloody mary’s and mimosas with 3 juices, one of which was a fall apple cider. We served a huge brunch at 1:15ish followed by Duck Donuts for dessert. It was so pretty to stand back and look at it all, this beautiful place, our gorgeous day, the people I love walking around and checking out the cows, taking pictures in the photo booth bus with all kinds of props, the children of the family playing games and swinging on a tree swing! What I love about that day is how relaxed and chill everyone seemed. It was perfect, even when we realized my matron of honor did not have Robbie’s ring. And our dj was fabulous! He is the dj for the Carolina Hurricanes but also a friend of mine. The music we had requested was so good, mostly oldies so all ages could enjoy it. I so wish I could do it all over, but I know it wouldn’t be the same. I hope you enjoy my photos!
