The story of our wedding
Forest Park in St. Louis has always been very special to us. We were engaged on the golf course in Forest Park. Subsequently it only made sense to get married at the Probstein Courses in Forest Park.
We created the most perfect and magical New Year's Eve Wedding-1920s Art Deco Style! It was a mild winter night in the heart of Forest Park, total perfection.
"Among The Whisperings & The Champagne, & The Stars"-The Great Gatsby
We had a quant ceremony with our closest family and friends. The isles inside and outside were lined with lanterns and as many twinkling lights as Vegas. Cocktail hour followed immediately and then we transitioned into the reception space. The guests were wowed by the handmade hot air balloon centerpieces, to pay tribute to the annual hot air balloon race in Forest Park. Each table was cleverly named after a landmark in Forest Park. All the guests were in their finest razzle and dazzle for the evening. A combination of a cigar bar, midnight champagne toast, and sparklers, helped to make sure all of the guests enjoyed themselves all night long.
Each year since our wedding we host an annual golf scramble in early spring. It is held in our same magical place that we were engaged at AND made our vows to each other. Forest Park will always be a special place to us.
