The story of our wedding

After almost a year and a half of planning we finally made it! It was a bumpy road full of surprises, pregnancy (that left me 4 months to lose weight!!!), car accidents, orthodontic visits (also me, and also still wearing them!!) but we made it to where we were always meant to be. I knew exactly what I wanted this wedding to look like, from the colors, to the decor, to the ceremony. Lucky for me, I had a fiancé who was willing to make my dream wedding a reality. It would not have been possible without the tools and advice I got from wedding wire! You made it easy to find great vendors within my price range and because I was also working full time the messaging through the app was incredibly beneficial to me during the planning process. My husband and I met on bumble so it only seems fitting that I had an app to plan our wedding lol. We went with a elegant twist on a rustic hill country wedding. Deep purples, lavenders, creams and bold navy for the colors. My husband is a first responder in San Antonio, TX so I had to have the navy for him and I included elements of his profession throughout the wedding. I had purchased my wedding dress a year earlier and now had 4 months to lose nearly 50 lbs! I barely made it, but it still fit beautifully. I planned every single detail to a T. I even wrote my own wedding ceremony (thanks to Pinterest) that I had our officiant read and my husband and I wrote our own vows. It was a truly unique ceremony created perfectly to suit mine and my husbands taste. I got so many compliments on my wedding that a few of my friends have even asked me to help plan theirs!
