The story of our wedding

Our wedding at Renaissance Aruba Wind Creek Resort's private island was a dream come true. The secluded, tropical setting made all my childhood dreams come true.

We chose the Renaissance for its private setting, as we had the entire island to ourselves for our special day. The pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery created a truly magical atmosphere. The flamingos, which roamed freely around the island, were the perfect photo bombers for our wedding pictures.

Our ceremony was held on the beach, with the gentle waves crashing against the shore. The sun shone brightly, casting a warm glow over everything. As we exchanged our vows in the private tree tunnel, I started crying and soaking in each and every moment.

The reception was held on Iguana Beach (the larger of the two beaches on the island). The food was delicious, and the drinks were flowing freely. Our guests danced the night away under the stars, enjoying the beautiful music by DJ Ruuben and the breathtaking views. Ruuben had everyone dancing all night to the best music and several of my guests said he was the best DJ at a wedding.
