The story of our wedding

We love to have fun, camp, cook & party with friends and family. So we wanted our wedding day to reflect that. Our venue was located in my parents backyard which was the perfect place to have everything we wanted. Our ceremony was small and intimate with our immediate families. Nick and I built our arbor out of antique doors and used native hydrangea and grasses to decorate it. The reception after was a pig roast / barbecue. We made all the side dishes with family and friends and hired a small crew to keep the food and drinks stocked throughout the night. Our cake and cupcakes were made by my maid of honor and best friend. The Pat Foley Band kept the music going and Calluna Fine Flowers took care of creating the ambiance with her flowers for an amazing evening. The fire pit and yard games were a huge hit as well. We had so many friends and family pitch in to create the perfect day that we will never forget. We’re so thankful for that. And thankful for our talented photographer Heidi Haseltine who captured all the details and emotions of our day to look back on.
