The story of our wedding

We got engaged in New Orleans, which is our favorite city, on a gondola and it was so magical! After a year and a half of planning, we were able to get married on May 26, 2019, at Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma. Our wedding was a beautiful day filled with so much love and fun! We wanted a Mediterranean style wedding at our favorite winery in Sonoma with glam and rustic touches. We also incorporated some New Orleans elements in our wedding to reflect our engagement there. Our wedding colors were gold, ivory, blush and olive green which made it very romantic and elegant. We had 70 guests so it was a more intimate wedding and we had many unique touches like a champagne tower pour, beignet dessert bar, live jazz music in our cocktail lounge area, and waving from the winery's balcony for a "Romeo and Juliet theme". Buena Vista Winery is the oldest winery in California and the most beautiful setting for our wedding. It was a magical day with so much love from our family and friends celebrating in the most gorgeous and romantic setting. Our favorite moment of the wedding was our vows to each other and also, walking in the vineyard together as man and wife.
