The story of our wedding

We met when we were fourteen and spent years as best friends, navigating life together before that bond naturally turned into something more. Fast forward to Turks & Caicos: Matt planned a sunset proposal on a private beach, with a local taxi driver in on the surprise, though the mysterious detour had me convinced we were being kidnapped!

When it came to our wedding, we embraced a vintage, old-school classic vibe filled with soft blush pink and white roses nestled in cloud-like baby’s breath. Personal touches were woven into every detail, from custom napkin love notes, matches, and bar signs to our ultimate crowd-pleaser: a video "love confessional" guest book where guests recorded heartfelt messages.

Out of the whole day, our favorite moment was exchanging our vows; in a room full of people, everything faded away into an incredibly intimate space that was grounded, emotional, and unforgettable. To cap off the night, we surprised everyone with a late-night McDonald’s truck, a nostalgic nod to the parking lot where we spent endless hours hanging out as teenagers. It was timeless, deeply personal, and the perfect start to our next chapter as husband and wife.
