The story of our wedding

After 5 years of dating and 1 year of engagement, we got married on January 19, 2019. My inspiration for our big day was the 1940s/1950s era mixed with a modern minimalist vibe. Marshall proposed to me on the rooftop of the hotel where we met in college when we worked together and we tied the knot in our home base of Kansas City, Missouri. Our caterer was Moxie catering. My bouquet was done by Milles Flores. My photographer was Bethany Hughes of Bethany and Camera. My mother made our wedding cake. I designed all other florals and my step-mom assembled the bridesmaids' bouquets. I designed the tables. I created the signs, which were done on vintage gold mirrors. Everything came together more beautifully than I ever could have hoped.
