NYIT’s de Seversky Mansion was a venue I had heard about 13 years prior when my brother was getting married. We never got around to looking at it because they found another venue that worked perfectly for them, but it was always in the back of my mind as a venue I wanted to see when my turn came around.The mansion was only the second place my now husband and I saw and our jaws hit the floor when we walked inside. Nothing else on Long Island looks like this stunning mansion.Beyond the stunning views and the convenience of being able to do everything from ceremony, pictures and reception in one place, what sold us was the food. This isn’t your ordinary wedding food. It is top notch restaurant quality food. I still to this day say how I wish I could just go eat dinner there because the food is so good!de Seversky Mansion was the start of our fairy tale. The day, the food, the service were all perfect and it was everything I ever dreamed of!
