Joseph and Alexis's Wedding in Statesville, North Carolina

The story of our wedding

Our wedding was based on us finally becoming a family and to have our closest friends/family there to celebrate. We had it at the Statesville Country Club in Statesville, NC. Our cememony was outdoors on the green and cocktail hour/reception was in the ballroom. We went off the greenery of the golf course with natural colors and lots of ferns and candles. Everyone was well-fed at the buffet and the staff were very helpful serving and making sure we had it all. Our exit was outside down the steps running through sparklers. Even the dressing rooms were spacious and the whole venue was spotless, we were very comfortable getting ourselves ready, it felt like home. Our center table in the entrance had pictures of our family who had passed and all around that and the giant centerpiece was military pictures and fireman pictures of Joseph and his groomsman. Also at the entrance we had two easels filled with military pictures of our family, along with a "Fallen Table" for all the soldiers. Our son (six months at the time) had so much fun seeing everyone and had fun getting ready with us girls! We couldn't think of anything more perfect that day with the best people.
