The story of our wedding

My husband Johnathan and I were together for 3 years before getting engaged, and during that time we took many trips to the oasis that is Isla Mujeres.

John had been to Isla his entire life - and after my first trip I knew it was someplace special and the place we would eventually say ‘I do’. On January 15, 2024, John and I married each other on the warm sand in front of 80 of our closest family and friends. Planned and put together by Sunhorse Weddings, located directly on the island, our wedding was effortlessly magical and full of so much love, laughter, and fun.

There were many tears shed at the ceremony and the night was spent eating churros, sipping tequila and dancing our hearts out with all the people we love most.

We had the colorful, joyous, and relaxing ceremony of our dreams - it was the most special night and we will cherish it forever and ever.
