The story of our wedding

We wanted our wedding to be small since we don’t have a lot of family who can travel. We took a trip to Salem, Massachusetts for Halloween so we decided to tie the knot there. When deciding where to have it since it was a destination wedding, we went with the Salem Willows. It was a public park in Salem and it has a lot of trees and a few willow trees in the park. It is surrounded by the ocean so we ended up having it between two trees looking out to the ocean. It was a little rainy but in the end it was perfect. There were hardly any people walking around and with it just a light rain it made it a great day for pictures. We ended up having a few family there and after the ceremony, we walked around for pictures. They turned out beautiful, thanks to the rain for holding out on us. We didn’t have a reception there but we plan on having one back at our home town later for more family and friends to come to.
