The story of our wedding

July 4th, 2019 came and went in the blink of an eye.

Despite the nerves (and the earthquake!), my bridal party and I made it to our venue, Seacliff Country Club, without a hitch. We got their early to do bridal photos and opted out of a first look as Jackson and I are pretty traditional. I had been given a LOT of (unsolicited) advice from just about everyone, and what stood out was that a lot of people didn't remember their wedding ceremony. As I walked down the aisle, I made sure to take mental snapshots of my family and friends and then the look on Jackson's face. I soaked in every second. We said, "I Do", fireworks literally went off, and the party started.

I couldn't tell you much about what happened after the ceremony because I wasn't nearly as intentional with the mental snapshots. The highligh reel consists of: Majorly struggling to bustle my dress, feeling like the paparazzi was after us, desperately trying to hit each table and say hello to everyone, getting served dinner first, Sparklers & more fireworks, our delicious cookie cake, my little cousin getting literally tackled by one of our guests during the bouquet toss, being insanely behind schedule, and trying to buckle my seatbelt with my dress on as we departed the venue.
