The story of our wedding

David and I got engaged in Central Park in New York City on December 19, 2017. One of my biggest priorities when planning the wedding was finding a venue that was unique and beautiful. I wanted a venue that had gorgeous views with a private feeling. When we saw The Oakley, in Holly, MI for the first time, we knew I was where our wedding should be. The Oakley is a beautiful venue that is tucked away on 40 acres of land- exactly what we were looking for! We hosted our rehearsal dinner on the estate located on The Oakley property. Our bridal party stayed the night at the estate, giving us the intimate and secluded feeling that we wanted. Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. We were able to get ready in the beautiful bridal suite, take pictures around the stunning property- with a variety of backgrounds, and enjoy the indoors and outdoors all evening long while dancing and celebrating. Our favorite moment of our wedding was being surrounded by all of our friends and family all weekend in one place- a once in a lifetime opportunity! Our wedding day and weekend at The Oakley was filled with an immense about of love, laughs, and memories.
