The story of our wedding

We tied the knot in a small ceremony with friends and family aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen, on gorgeous Lake Champlain. Since we live 10mins from the lake in Milton VT, this location is near and dear to us. Having a small wedding on a boat with masks, plenty of open spaces and fresh air, sanitizer, plus gorgeous Vermont Fall weather and foliage, we could not have asked for a safer, happier, more wonderful experience. We decorated with local apples, pumpkins and gourds, which were also our guest gifts at the end of the night. Our wedding was unique, simple, and unforgettable. The music and dancing was an absolute blast, and the food+ drinks: delicious. Vows on the bow of the ship, and champagne up on the captains deck at sunset were two of our favorite moments. Downtown Burlington is also an amazing place for a rehearsal dinner. We used Halvorson's magical private outdoor patio - would 100% recommend finding this affordable gem! Without Kristin at Spirit of Ethan Allen, none of this would have been possible. She is nothing short of a Fairy Godmother. She made sure that we and our guests were cared for every moment of the wedding - from the beginning planning stages, to getting off the boat at the end of the night happy, healthy, AND MARRIED<3!
