The story of our wedding

Chris and I travelled from New Zealand to New York to get married as we both wanted a smaller wedding that wasn't your typical 'kiwi' celebration.

We loved the idea of a destination wedding, with an urban/modern feel that focussed on having fun with our nearest and dearest.

We both love travelling and experiencing new places together - we got engaged in Fiji and then had a month long honeymoon around the States after our NYC wedding! It was the best :)

It was quite hard to sorting out all the details from across the globe, so we were very grateful to all the vendors we used who each were incredibly helpful! I did quite a bit of research online and just emailed, emailed, emailed! Most places I happened to find on Instagram, as I knew the look/vibe that I wanted, and just sent enquiries to a tonne of places.

We absolutly loved the day (and the rest of the time!) it all went as planned and we had a trip of a lifetime!

New York is the most beautiful and magical city - I can't imagine doing it another way! I would 100% recommend getting married there to anyone!
