The story of our wedding

After 12 years together, we got married in our favorite city, Las Vegas. Being from San Diego, Vegas is our go-to weekend getaway. We are avid Vegas enthusiasts - in fact, we have visited Las Vegas together a total of 27 times, staying at 20 different hotels! We have a bucket list goal to stay in every hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. So far, we are making good traction!

We were married on May 20, 2023, at the Las Vegas Country Club. My (now) husband is an avid golfer, and the rich history at the Las Vegas Country Club (being the first established country club in Las Vegas in 1967) made this location a no-brainer. We toured 5 country clubs in the Las Vegas area, and nothing could compare to the beauty and history of the Las Vegas Country Club.

Upon entrance, guests are transported back to the late 1960’s - in this glamorous club which was known as the place to see and be seen. The grounds are kept immaculate, coupled with marks of history throughout the property. Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra frequented this location. For our wedding, we wanted to capture a Vintage Vegas Glamour theme - which the Las Vegas Country Club delivered effortlessly. Our guests were greeted with champagne upon arrival at the ceremony site while classics by Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra played. In lieu of traditional programs, we made “newspapers” that incorporated details of the day, in addition to a page citing the full history of the Las Vegas Country Club. The ceremony site was located on the presidential lawn with a beautiful golf course and garden views, followed by the reception on the stunning grand terrace patio with market lights and an immaculate wood dance floor.
