The story of our wedding
My husband and I got married the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was a bit rainy but turned out to be a wonderful day. We designed and created everything for our wedding ourselves (I even made my dress). The invites were designed on Vista Print, and fit our vintage travel theme well. We had the ceremony at University Lutheran Chapel. We each had 2 people standing with us, and my 8 month old niece stole the show as my flower girl. The reception was held at Weber's Inn. We had a buffet style dinner, with a cocktail hour before and a late night build your own slider bar. The cake was also created by Weber's bakery (Marybeth King is amazing). Our DJ, Ellen kept the night moving at a great pace and we had lots of compliments on how much fun our guests had. She also DJ'd my sister's wedding a few years ago, and it was just as great. We had about 100 guests, and it was perfect for the atomospher we wanted and the budget we had. Our photographer, Denisa Rama Photography, was amazing and talented. Working with her for our engangement pictures as well. I have never felt like I looked good in pictures, but I keep showing these to everyone because I love them so much. She was able to do traditional shots, as well as stylized romantic and artistic shots which were exactly what I wanted.
