The story of our wedding
It was always my dream as a little girl to get married at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, on April 5, 2019 that dream finally came true! It was such an amazing experience from the engagement (which also happened at the Magic Kingdom) all the way up until the end of our wedding week.
We used the team at Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons and they were so fantasic to work with! Our planner and her team of "Fairy Godmothers" made us feel like we were guests at our own wedding. They did all the heavy lifting to make sure the day ran as smoothly as possible and there was not one hiccup that I can think of that happened that day.
We were married at the Wedding Pavilion at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and it was just the most perfect location for our I Do's. Every guest that was in attendance raved about how beautiful it was, it was like it's own little castle on a tiny private island! The team at Disney excuted everything to our specific needs and wants and it was even more than I could have ever imagined.
Continue reading »Our reception took place at the Ballroom at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, so a short walk or bus ride for guests who were at the ceremony. The way the team turned just a regular ballroom into a beautiful reception space was amazing! The lighting and our floral team were phenominal and made it a very soft and romantic atmopshere. We even had some surprise guests for our guests to have fun with, Mickey and Minnie! They were definitely a hit with everyone and helped us cut our cake too!
The morning after the wedding, my husband and I had a private photoshoot inside the Magic Kingdom very early in the morning, and it was just the cherry on top of a fantastic week. I love that our pictures are just so different and unique, all the photographers we had were amazing and we can't wait to have another anniversary photoshoot with them!
Overall, my magical Disney Wedding was everything I ever dreamed it would be and so much more. Throughout the week at the resort, my new husband and I were treated like royalty and our room coodinator even got us an upgrade at our hotel with a fantasic view of the Magic Kingdom. Our family and friends are still coming up to us saying how amazing everything was, from the decor to the food and everything inbetween. It was the perfect celebration for us to start our Happily Every After.
