The story of our wedding
My husband and I had our wedding at CampWay in Prescott, Arizona, on September 17, 2022. We had about 110 people attend (we planned our wedding in 3 months, so it's doable!). We wanted a venue that was true to who we were as a couple, celebrated the outdoors, and provided space to connect with friends and family. We wanted to create a space for a more extended period for people to connect and have deep and meaningful conversations, especially since so many were coming in from out of town. Campway provided the perfect place for this type of community-focused wedding.
Our wedding at CampWay was like going back to summer camp and being with your friends all the time, but this time with WAY better food, more comfort, alcohol, and elegance. It was truly stunning, and as a bride, the staff put my mind at ease and was extremely easy to work with every step of the way. Continue reading »We had everything we needed to embrace the outdoors but add extra twists of elegance. We had a BBQ the first night as a meet and great for our guests. There were fun activities like ziplining, high ropes course, axe throwing, etc. that created lasting memories for kids and everyone. The ceremony was held in an outdoor theatre with the backdrop of the beautiful pine forests. From there we moved up to the main camp area for cocktails and charcuterie. The dinner and reception was held in an outdoor structure with a treehouse photo booth, live band for dancing until the wee hours of the morning, and a fire pit going for people to relax and connect by. It was truly the best weekend of our lives!
