The story of our wedding

Brandon and I got married on September 3, 2022, after nine years together. We had a joint Indian-American wedding that combined both of our cultures and highlighted the special love we have for Chicago, our home.

We met our freshman year of college at Purdue University- for our wedding, since much of our bridal party and guests were Purdue Engineering alumni as well, it was only fitting that Brandon rode in for his Baraat not on a horse, as is tradition, but on the Boilermaker Special train (the Purdue mascot!).

For many of our guests (including Brandon and myself!), this was their first Indian wedding experience, so we went all-out with the food, and ceremony traditions, and encouraged our guests to wear Indian attire. We had so much fun on a day we will never forget!
