The story of our wedding

Our wedding ended up being the best day ever. I meticulously planned everything with the help of WeddingWire. Because my engagement ring was based around Star Wars, we decided to have a celestial wedding theme with navy, gold, and champagne. Other than unexpectedly having to move our wedding venue the night before due to flooding, everything went according to plan. My husband and I met on a dating app, but it turns out we were both from a small town and lived 3 houses away from each other! We got married in the town we met and grew up in, surrounded by our family and friends.

Our wedding photos were taken outside of a circus brewery, where we had our first date, and my husband actually helped brew the first beers back in the day. We originally booked a veterans hall for the big day, but sadly, we had to move the wedding the night before due to severe flooding. Our family, friends, and the whole community came together to still make our wedding happen. It ended up being 2 buildings away where the rehearsal dinner was. We are just so thankful that it was still able to happen, and that we were surrounded by our very best friends, loved family members, and sweet baby girl. It rained the entire day, but we heard a little rain (and flooding?) is good luck!
