The story of our wedding

Our wedding was the fairytale I had always dreamed about from the time I was a child. I met my now husband at a point in time when I wasn’t sure I would ever find the right person. We had to overcome many obstacles to get to our wedding day, including living 3.5 hours apart for our 2 year engagement, surviving a global pandemic, and all of our reception cupcakes getting ruined in an almost car accident the night before the wedding. Despite all of the challenges we faced in a time of uncertainty, we had beautiful sunny weather and we were able to have our friends and family surrounding us at a ceremony full of love and joy. The ceremony was at the church I grew up attending and our minister was my husband’s roommate, making the day even more special. My veil may have fallen off as I walked down the aisle, but at least that walk was memorable! I couldn’t have asked for a better day, better people to surround us, or a better man to marry.
