Zoe and her husband Josh were the perfect team to photograph our wedding day. Zoe was so helpful and most of all, patient during the planning process. These two brought the perfect positive energy that I needed on my wedding day. They made sure we were all having the most fun we could have. They were also really great about listening to my needs. We had guests arrive very early and I did not want to be seen by all of them yet. Zoe and Josh were so great about directing people around and making sure I felt comfortable. I will never forget how amazing they were to us and how special it made our day. We got back even more photos than I was expecting. Our photos capture every moment and detail of the day, even the moments I missed because I was busy or talking to a family member. Not only that, but they are the most high quality photos, with so many different backgrounds and poses. We had so much fun playing with my long veil and the photos are like something out of a movie. My husband Cody and I are so thankful for the experience you guys gave us and the stunning, timeless photos we have to look back on forever. -

Awesome engagement photographer!
Zoe is an amazing photographer. I booked an engagement photo session at Missouri Botanical Gardens in August with Zoe. Unfortunately, it was one of the hottest days of the year, but Zoe was super enthusiastic and made the photography session easy. My husband and I are very introverted and neither of us have ever done a photo shoot, but Zoe was great at directing us and making the photo shoot fun! I cannot thank her enough for the beautiful engagement photos. I ordered prints from her online store and the metallic prints are absolutely gorgeous. We received several hundred gorgeous pictures and will cherish them forever. Thanks so much to Zoe for her amazing photography skills! We will be doing all future photoshoots with her! -

Zoe did an amazing job with our engagement pictures. We are beyond happy with the quality work she delivered and the timely manner. Zoe helped us throughout the entire session. I honestly was very nervous since it was my first time getting any professional pictures but what a great experience. She guided us and provided enough pictures to choose from for all wedding pictures. If we end up hosting our wedding in STL, we definitely will hire Zoe in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her. Easy to book. Easy to communicate. Just amazing! -

Fun and Relaxing!
Zoe did a great job capturing our engagement photos. She made the experience enjoyable and comfortable. We took photos at Faust Park in STL and she was knowledgable about poses and picture spots. She made taking photos together fun and we are looking forward to her capturing our wedding too! -

If you’re looking for authentic, classic engagement and/or wedding photos, Zoe Life Photography is for you! Zoe is so skilled at creating and capturing the most romantic and beautiful moments. We looked though so many photographers, wanting more of a natural photo style rather than the more bold/dramatic style out there which just didn’t feel like us but seems pretty popular these days, but when we looked though Zoe’s portfolio, we were so excited - it was just the style we were looking for and she 110% delivered that for both our engagement and wedding photos.
We scheduled a last minute 1-hour engagement shoot with her in St. Louis when I was in town for the week and couldn’t have been happier with our (300+!!) photos. We were so relieved that she travels for weddings! Since we were going to have a packed wedding day, we decided to book her and her second shooter (her husband, Josh) and it was great to have photos of both bride and groom wedding parties getting ready and through the day! They did an AMAZING job, fully capturing the beauty of our outdoor waterfront garden venue and producing amazing photos in the full spectrum of lighting from bright Florida mid-day sun, to sunset portraits, to speeches under a spotlight after the sun went down and even people having fun on the dance floor (2,600+ amazing photos from 12 hours of shooting)!
Pros - She was super responsive and accomodating in setting up our engagement shoot only a few days ahead of time and throughout planning for the wedding; she was great about coaching us into cute and romantic poses where we still looked authentic and natural and captured our love in such a sweet and genuine way; she has a very thorough pre-wedding questionnaire to get all the info needed to make sure she knows what you want to capture on your day and makes sure to deliver!
Cons - Travel costs added up pretty fast (but that wasn’t Zoe’s fault!). But even with the travel costs, it still wasn’t as expensive as some of the Miami photographer we were shown by our planner and she is SO much better!
Bottom line- if you see Zoe’s portfolio and like her style, do not hesitate to book her! She turned my husband and I into models we never knew we were and we have the best engagement and wedding photos we could have ever asked for and that we can cherish for the rest of our lives! -

We booked Zoe for our engagement pictures. We found her through an online search and like many of you, we went through her portfolio and read all the reviews before contacting her. She was responsive, accommodating and she does not disappoint!! We had our dog with us and she was great directing all of us. Photos are beautiful and she provided a lot of different options. We'll be booking her for our wedding day . Definitely would recommend her to capture your special moments. -

Zoe is absolutely wonderful to work with and she takes amazing pictures! We used Zoe for both our engagement and wedding pictures and we could not have wished for better pictures. She knows exactly when to catch you in the right moment and it is so easy to work with her. My husband does not like having pictures taken and he had such a great time on both occasions because Zoe just makes it so easy! Thank you Zoe! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zoe. She is professional, punctual, reliable, and very, very talented. Zoe shot my engagement pictures and wedding. I was so pleased with her work. She’s easy to work with and she will take care of you. Also, her husband Josh was the second shooter at our wedding. They are a dream team! My friends and families loved them both. Zoe totally rocks. The photos she took of our May 4, 2019 wedding are out of this world gorgeous - we are having a ton of trouble deciding our favorites from the 1300+ gorgeous shots she took (a good problem to have). She was very pregnant and brought a second shooter and assistant to our wedding for free. Being pregnant didn't seem to slow her down at all, but we were so grateful to have the additional help. She is totally no-nonsense - she can take charge of a group and instructs everyone on how to stand and pose to look best, so the stress is completely taken away from the bridal party. And she is also so friendly and supportive as well. We would recommend Zoe 100%. (She also did our engagement photos which we absolutely love!) -

Seriously, don’t waste any more of your time searching and hire Zoe. She is the kindest person you will ever meet, she is fun, she knows her stuff and her work is beyond perfection. I can’t even tell you how many websites I looked at and reviews I read before I found Zoe and as soon as I started looking at her work, I knew I’d found our photographer. And to make things better she was within our budget and super flexible with the packages and options she offers. We currently live in Seattle so I assumed we would need to find someone here for our engagement pics but it turns out that Zoe’s sister lives here so she offered to come do our engagement session for no additional charge and I am SO happy she was able to do that because our engagement pictures turned out far better than I ever could have imagined!! Her ability to frame shots is incredible and the quality of her work is out of this world. She also thinks outside the box and will get some really exceptional photos that will blow your mind. After our engagement shoot, I knew that I didn’t have to worry about our wedding photos because she would exceed our expectations no matter what. Especially since Zoe was always available to chat and was so incredibly helpful with many aspects of the wedding, not just the photography. It felt like working with an old friend throughout the entire process. We had a second photographer for part of our wedding day which I would highly recommend because the two of them were able to capture everything from different perspectives. Together, they took over 5,000 photos which blew my mind! Zoe selected and edited over 1,500 photos for our gallery and words can’t even express how amazing they turned out!!! They captured every special moment and all the little moments in between. We got our gallery about two and a half months ago and haven’t stopped receiving compliments from everyone about how amazing they are. Zoe is just the best and I could not imagine a better experience than what we had with her. She was by far our favorite vendor we had during our wedding and I will forever use her for all my photography needs (babies, puppies, puppies and babies). Thank you again Zoe!!! -
Olga Sent on 03/21/2018We chose Zoe as our wedding photographer because we loved the romantic, artistic style of her photographs. But we also loved that she managed to capture the personalities of the people she was photographing in a natural way. And those two elements definitely came through in Zoe’s photographs of our wedding. The photos are stunning and turned out better than we could have hoped they would. It was freezing the day of our wedding (single digits), and we took photos outside, but you would never know it was that cold from looking at the pictures. Zoe did such an amazing job capturing the spirit of our wedding and we have some truly gorgeous images that we will cherish forever.
On top of how beautiful the photos are, Zoe was so friendly and easy to work with. She asked us all the right questions before the wedding to make sure she knew what style we wanted and which shots were the most important for her to capture. She also found a beautiful abandoned church right down the street from our venue and suggested that we go there to take some of our bride and groom portraits. We never would have known about it otherwise, and the photos from the church are some of our favorites from our wedding. With the backdrop of the church, they really are works of art. I cannot recommend Zoe highly enough! -

User2895719 Sent on 12/07/2016I had two different professional photographers at the same time at both my rehearsal dinner and wedding because I didn't want to be disappointed with the results. I mean, it's such an important occasion that I didn't want the regret of my pictures falling flat like I had heard from other brides who had hired budget photographers. Even though Zoe is reasonably-priced, her pictures do not look like budget photography!!! I am SOOOO glad I chose Zoe Life to be one of my photographers because without her, my photos would have been terrible! The other photographer took pictures from way back -- no resolution, everyone's faces were so small, the pictures were dark, and those delectable little extra detail pictures -- like the sun setting through the trees, the guests other than the bridal party, the food other than the wedding cake -- would have been missed. Zoe's competition (the other photographer) made a scene, saying he didn't know another photographer would be there and even mentioned possibly quitting the job, but Zoe was totally cool with the competition! (I honestly didn't mean for there to be a competition -- I was my own wedding coordinator, was just trying to cover my bases, and didn't know an artist could be so territorial -- of course, Zoe wasn't; she's totally cool!) With two different photographers taking pictures next to each other, I was able to easily see Zoe's amazing attention to detail and gifted creativity! Zoe had the pictures to me within 4 weeks and always wrote me and called me back (Zoe's competition let repeated emails go unanswered and took over 6 months to get me my pictures)!!!!! What would I have done without Zoe!!?? She was also really flexible -- I got married on a weekend in June (right when everyone else is getting married) in a remote location, and she accommodated me! -

Kind and Talented!
Zoe was the perfect choice for us! Her pricing is fair and her editing skills are exactly what we were looking for. She made sure our skin tones stayed true to reality and provided beautiful lighting and fall color in the background. She helped us through the whole process and made us feel way more comfortable than we were going in. We got our photos back so fast and absolutely loved the finished product! We will cherish these photos forever :) -

Working with Zoe, from top to bottom, was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. She is kind, professional, and honestly just incredible to work with. When looking for a wedding photographer, I wanted someone who captured light and airy, timeless photographs and Zoe does just that. Her work is absolutely stunning and we could not have been more pleased with our end results from the day.
What sets Zoe apart is the relationships she makes with you, the client. Upon reaching out, she and her husband (who also was our second photographer the day of our wedding) set up a FaceTime conference call just to meet with us and get to know us a bit better. I thought that was really cool! She also photographs your engagement session for free, also to get to know each couple better before the wedding. I was confident that Zoe would capture great picture even though me and my husband don't always know how to pose or what to do (we were really afraid that we would be awkward!), but Zoe knows what she is doing and directs you in a great way to pose and make the shots perfect! She is super knowledgable.
I would highly highly recommend using Zoe for any type of photography need you would have, and I hope to work with her for years to come as we grow our family. She is an incredible photographer and person. 1000000/10!!!
