Zen was perfect for our rehearsal dinner. Cameron was extremely helpful throughout the process. Zen provided upbeat and social atmosphere which is what we were looking for.

The aesthetic of this venue was what sold us. It’s industrial and beautiful. Jeff, the owner was so helpful everytime we met with him. Cameron was also super responsive to any questions I had. Jenn was the one who worked our wedding and I cannot stress enough how wonderful she is. She was sweet, caring, and helpful all day. Zen is a gem. Being so close to falls park made this venue that much better.

100% recommend Zen for any event! We booked this venue for our wedding 7/31 and everything was perfect! 10/10 for the location, the service, and the event spaces. We were able to have a ceremony, cocktail hour, and a reception all in one building! I emailed with Cameron a lot during our wedding process and she was always very responsive and accommodating to our needs! We were so appreciative to have Jennifer at our rehearsal and wedding. She literally went above and beyond for whatever we needed! Thank you so much Jennifer for dealing with all our craziness! Last but not least, Ronnie our bartender was amazing! We've heard so many compliments from our guests about how great Ronnie was! Thank you all for an amazing wedding!

Even though I did not end up booking with Zen, I would like to highly commend Cameron for how she treated us during our venue search. She gave us an excellent tour and was very willing to work with us afterwards. We genuinely felt her care for us as potential clients, something we didn’t experience everywhere we went.

We ultimately chose another venue that we felt was a slightly better fit for our vision and needs, but Zen was a top contender. It has a cool vibe, oodles of space, beautiful built-in paper lantern decorations hanging from a portion of the ceiling, a wonderful bridal party crash room/green room, built-in bar, a lovely outdoor deck and patio with bistro lighting, and the additional Lotus Lounge room that would serve as a great contingency plan (in case of rain) for an outdoor cocktail hour originally planned for the garden. We felt the venue was competitively priced. I also know for a fact that the space is a great place for a party—I attended my prom there several years earlier and had a great time.

If you’re looking at Zen, ask Cameron to show you pictures on her iPad during your tour! Zen has a Google Photos album that is full of pictures from past events to provide you ample inspiration for your special day.

Zen was amazing! We had last minute changes due to COVID-19 and booked them 1 month before our wedding date. They had staff to move tables and chairs and the venue is so beautiful! They were super quick to respond and even provided cell phone numbers for key people. I'll absolutely use them again.

Cameron and the rest of the staff at Zen made the day perfect. The venue is incredibly beautiful with wonderful decorating choices by the owner. It has a great layout for outside and inside weddings and accomodated everything they needed to for COVID-19. They are great at communication, answering any questions you have and understand what it takes to make a successful, well run wedding. Thank you so much!

The Zen is the perfect wedding venue, especially if you want to hold the ceremony and reception in one place, which all of the guests truly loved! The venue is very spacious, has a lovely bridal suite, and is already beautifully decorated. Cameron was an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning phase. She was very responsive, personable and accommodating. In addition, all of the Zen support staff on the day of the wedding were outstanding! Everyone truly helped make the planning process and the wedding day stress free.

Our experience at Zen Venue was awesome. Great communication from Cameron, and the space was set up perfectly. We did not have to worry about a thing. All of the bartenders and workers were so nice during our event. We will definitely use them again in the future!

My daughter's wedding reception was held in this fabulous venue and we could not have been more pleased! From our very first visit the owner Jeff and his event planner Cameron went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The caterer, the band, and the florist all told us up front that Zen is one of their favorite venues because they are so easy to work with and now I know why! The reception went off without a hitch. They provided ample bar tenders so there were no long lines at the bar and our every request was taken care of. I highly recommend!

We had such a great experience working with everyone at Zen! They were so flexible and accommodating, could not recommend them more!

We worked with Jeff and he was wonderful. He provided us with all of the information we needed and met with us and worked with us to get things just right. We used his recommended vendor list and the day of everything went smoothly. The facility itself is beautiful so you don't need to add a lot of decoration to have a beautiful event. I'd say one of my most favorite parts of this facility is the bridal suite. One of the downsides to the facility is that the onsite parking is limited so if a lot of guests are planning to drive, you may need to set up with Zen to reserve spots in a nearby parking garage. Also there are no shots allowed in the facility however, they do have beer and wine service as well as liquors served in non-shot form! Probably a good thing since you don't want people getting completely plastered. We would definitely recommend Zen!

Unbelievable - My daughters wedding was misplaced by hurricane Florence. She had 10 days to find a new venue. She contacted Geoff at Zen. What a miracle worker. No only did he open up his facility but his heart, generosity, and personal touch. I am not sure Geoff can truly understand what he was able to do for my daughter and in turn did for my wife and I - for this we are truly grateful. I know you should never give 5 stars because no one is perfect but anything less would be a disservice to Geoff and Zen.

Zen was an amazing venue for our wedding ceremony and reception of over 200 guests. I was apprehensive about the space and Cameron assured me that everything would be perfect, and it was! The staff were very accommodating and made sure our day was top notch. Definitely would recommend any bride to take a look at Zen for their day!

My husband and I were just recently married and we had our entire event at Zen (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). From about 10 months prior, and leading up to the event, we had the absolute pleasure of working with the owner, Jeff, and the Marketing Manager, Cameron. Both were incredibly attentive to our desires, responsive to any and all questions (in a VERY timely fashion), and simply made the planning process a breeze! We had numerous guests come up and tell us that not only was it the best party they had been to in years, but they just loved the space in general! Patrick and I would certainly give Zen all the stars for our big day and will certainly be recommending it to all friends/family from the area!

An beautiful contemporary venue, easily accessible in downtown Greenville. The staff is top notch and all vendor referrals by Jeff and Cameron were excellent. We used the lounge area for my son's rehearsal dinner which was perfect but there are additional inside/outside settings, as well. I highly recommend Zen and it's staff.

Zen was an incredible place for my daughters wedding reception. I couldn’t have been happier with the venue. Cameron was fabulous to work with! She was easy to contact and always responded quickly. We absolutely loved Zen for our October wedding! The space is beautiful and we hardly had to do any decorating. The entire staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the entire evening was! I would highly recommend Zen for your next event!

Cameron was FABULOUS! I am involved in a lot of corporate events, so I know what "good" looks like and I also know what "great" look like, ZEN is "Great." Cameron and Jeff are amazing. I had lots of venue choices for my sons rehersal dinner and I chose Zen because of location, professionalism and what was included in the price. No need to worry about tables, chairs, table clothes and plenty of staff to assist in your every need. Cameron and I talked about my needs, and every detail was meet. She actually called the week before my event to conduct a "dry run" with the video to make sure computer/iPad were compatiable... no issues on Friday night at the rehersal dinner. The morning before the event staff were there to assist in every way possible.
If you are looking for a great place to have your event, do not hesitate, Cameron, Jeff and the staff at Zen will make sure your special event is everything you dreamed it would be.

Had a great experience working with Jeff at Zen. So accommodating, flexible, and made our dream wedding venue a reality. Also pretty affordable and willing to be flexible. We had a great experience at Zen. I would definitely make sure you go over what is allowed and not allowed at the venue though in the contract. We booked a package deal that was custom made for us including food and venue. We worked with Zen and Seasons catering.

Having our reception at Zen was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Cameron was so easy to work with and always available to answer our questions and help plan the reception. We utilized both rooms at Zen and had plenty of space for our guests, food, bar, and band with dance floor. We also used the courtyard area which was perfect to take a second and escape from the noise and absolutely beautiful for pictures.

Zen was one of the first venues we considered and while the price tag may feel steep, it’s because everything is INCLUDED! You get the venue, staffing, most of the rentals, and so much help along the way. Our wedding reception was perfect and our out-of-town guests were GUSHING over how beautiful the space was. They also provide bar services in-house and were the most affordable we found in town. The staff was phenomenal and Cameron made every step of planning feel effortless – she is truly a gem. We rented the entire facility with a reception for about 200 and it was a perfect fit. I could not recommend this space more!

We had the most wonderful and beautiful reception for my daughter at Zen and the staff could not have been more helpful and creative for such a large crowd. I would highly recommend them for any event-corporate or personal. You will not be disappointed!

Zen is a lovely and elegant venue for a wedding. There are so many options to utilize, upstairs, outside garden , cocktail area, wedding ceremony and a tent in the parking lot if you want. It easily held 168 guests with room to spare. The Employees were the absolute best and so easy to work with.

Everyone at Zen was so accommodating and friendly. Cameron was wondering during the planning process. She answered all emails in a timely manner and catered to my needs as best as she could. The gentlemen that helped with set up and tear down were overly nice and professional at all times. The went out of there way to help whenever possible. This venue exceeded my expectations from beginning to end.

I would use this vendor again and again. Cameron was very easy to work with and accommodating to any of our little oops along the way. On the night of the event, we never felt rushed to finish up our event and the bar tender and night staff were very courteous and professional. Made us feel welcomed and that they were happy to assist us. You will not go wrong using Zen as your venue for that special occasion.

We had our wedding reception at Zen on January 30th and cannot say enough good things! Cameron was beyond helpful from the very beginning and was always so patient and quick to respond. I had been to a few events at Zen before and have always loved the space. We had 185 people at the reception and just used the back room. It was absolutely perfect and all of the Zen staff was incredible. We had a bubble exit and Zen has the perfect side exit for some great photo opportunities of everyone lined up. Thanks to everyone at Zen for making our day absolutely perfect!

I love Zen! The venue is gorgeous and it's perfect for any style wedding. The staff is professional and very helpful. My favorite part is the bridal suite in the upstairs loft. Perfect for getting ready with your bridesmaids!

I can't say enough good things about Zen and their team. We didn't have a lot of time to pick a venue for our fall wedding, as venues were filling up fast ... but we went to look at Zen hoping they might have a day for us. We knew immediately that this was the place we wanted to get married, and they had one Saturday left! It is so beautiful! Every single room. We rented the entire space (you can rent a few or all of the spaces) and it is the most unique and elegant space! We got married in the bamboo garden, had our cocktail hour in the lotus lounge and our reception in the big room. You need very little, if any, decorations in the lounge and the garden. The art and lighting are enough! I was very unsure of how everything would come together, but day of the team worked so hard and made every thing so perfect! Even when i changed my mind over and over, they really do aim to make your day everything you could hope for! You get what you pay for, and Zen is worth every penny!

Everyone was great. They let me drop off the decorations a day early so that when my caterers got there they could set everything up the my caterer even said that the table clothes were already set up when he got there. I also had a panic attack as I was talking to Cameron and she did not judge me and she was very helpful all the way through. I had a lot of fun thank you so much for everything.

Zen was amazing! I actually had an appointment at the old cigar warehouse and I hated the way they treated me. I felt like they thought that I was just a waste of time. With that being said, after I left, we didn't even get a follow call. Anyways I was told from the ladies at wedding 101 to go across the street to Zen and just peak in and see if I would like it. I knew my friend was going to get married there and I didn't think for a second to get married there as well just a few weeks before me. However, I went and looked in and here comes sweet Cameron. I didn't have an appointment but she went ahead and took me in with open arms. As soon as I walked in I fell in love. I knew that it was the venue for me! It's beautiful. It's elegant. It's like the venues you only see in movies! Cameron was extremely nice and professional. I didn't make the decision that day because that was only my second place I had visited. In all, Cameron asked me for my wedding date. I told her and within the next couple of days she called and said I really want you to have your wedding here. I can see it in your eyes that this is what you want. She was so right. I didn't even talk to family about the decision and went ahead and sent her the deposit that day! That was it. I had my dream location! From that day forward Cameron was my right hand lady! Every email, every phone call was answered right away! She was amazing and you can tell when someone just really cares or is just doing their job. She did both to perfection! Zen was beautiful. Everyone was so helpful in making sure the day went as smooth as possible! Even the owner helped out with my layout and design! He was awesome. The bartenders were incredible and the Long Island is a must if you get the bar option! We loved every single second. I wish we could do it all over again. Thanks so much to Zen, and especially to Cameron!

Zen was everything we wanted in a wedding venue; contempoaray and chic. My daughter choose the space and was immensely happy with her choice. the bride and groom had an amazing time, as did all the guests. Jeff and Cameron are a dream to work with. I would highly recommend Zen to anybody who wants an elegant and fun experience downtown!

The Zen was an beautiful place to have a wedding Nancy was always avaliable and helpful when I needed her or had any questions we had our wedding in the bamboo garden and it was very beautiful the staff went over and beyond the day of my wedding to make sure everything went smooth It was very beautiful and everyone is still talking about how beautiful everything was!

This is an exceptional facility, one that evokes the feeling of a New York loft or upscale club. It is sophisticated and beautifully designed. The perfect setting for any party or event--large or small.

We found Zen to be the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. It was a memorable and beautiful event -- and Zen helped to make that happen. We used the entire facility with the front room for cocktails and the large lounge area for the wedding reception, dinner and dancing. We had lots of candlelight, flowers and a sit down tablesetting for close to 200 people. The Japanese garden also was a favorite for our guest with the glow of candlelight, comfortable seating and nighttime lighting throughout -- it was a beautiful June evening in the garden. The venue proved to be very sophisticated, beautiful and absolutely stunning.

We had our reception at Zen on May 17th and it was SO perfect! We worked with Cameron and the team at Zen for over a year planning our reception and deciding on details. Not only were they prompt and helpful, they were able to recommend a lot of top quality vendors that we chose and enjoyed! The openness of the space provided us the opportunity to make it our own and unique to our wedding. They also provided "props" or decorations that if you wanted to use you could, and if not they were happy to remove them. They were completely accomodating to us (and we were not always an easy crowd to please!). I would highly recommend the staff and Zen to anyone who was looking for a unique, cozy reception downtown in the beautiful West End of Greenville!

We've had three weddings, two receptions, one rehearsal dinner and two engagement parties in less than 4 years. Four of those events have been in 2014. We have worked with a lot of vendors in Greenville, SC. Working with Cameron and the Zen staff has been amazing and a great pleasure for our family. Every time I contacted her via phone or email she responded immediately. This is very important because sometimes you need answers right away. Cameron was always very positive and made us feel like our event was important to them. They always worked to do whatever we ask of them and made very helpful suggestions. Our guests were blown away by Zen when they arrived for our reception. Nancy and the whole team were always responsive, helpful, and let me visit the venue on multiple occasions just to look around and "envision" things we were trying to decide with other vendors. They coordinated with our caterer and wedding planner and made our day fabulous!

Held our corporate holiday party at Zen and it was fantastic. The location and venue are perfect. The decor was incredible. It was a really perfect balance of sophication and comfort. The food was delicious. The staff was accomodating, professional and fun. We had so many people say that this was the most fun they have had at a holiday party! The value we got for our money was worth every dollar. I would recommend it to anyone needing a location for a personal or professional event. We hope to host next year's party at Zen!

We had a wedding reception at Zen in November 2013 and it was truly a perfect venue. The beauty of Zen is that it is a gorgeous space all on it's own and does not require alot of decorating. The staff was very professional and accomodating during the planning stages, however the real test was on the day of the wedding. From the set - up crew to the bartenders and staff, they were all so helpful and nice to work with. It really was a great experience and helped make our special day go smoothly. I would highly recommend Zen for Weddings and any other special events.

Zen is a spectacular location! All of our wedding guests were "wowed"! The staff is extremely professional, friendly and helpful making great suggestions. I planned my South Carolina wedding from Kentucky so communication and flexibility were essential to me. The Zen staff was a pleasure to work with. As with all brides, there are so many decisions to make and some details to cover. This gorgeous, sleek, modern venue was perfect and the experienced staff made great suggestions that helped to limit me being overcome with the details of wedding planning. Jeff, Nancy, Cameron and Steve will not disappoint. Friends and family say it was the best wedding they'd been to, mainly due to the fact that we went simple/modern and that the venue was amazing. Location is great for out-of-town guest to really get an idea of how Greenville, SC is imporving. The central downtown greenville location was very nice. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least visit this venue.

Great venue for a reception.Met twice after booking venue to confirm set up and plans. We were able to set up decorations in morning of wedding. Bar service was excellent. Wedding party was able to eat upstairs in a private room before being introduced at reception. Beautiful pictures were taken at the reception both inside and outside. Overall, we were extremely pleased with Zen.

Zen was a fantastic venue for our beautiful wedding! The staff is very accommodating, flexible, and able to meet at any time to discuss aspects of the wedding. We had no trouble using our selected vendors for the event, and Zen also worked with each vendor to allow them in the day of the wedding at their selected times for setup. The building is very unique, already has some decorations in it, and allows for the opportunity to set it up any way you wish. The staff is very responsive, and answers to e-mails came very quickly. We could not have asked for a better space to have our wedding!

Our wedding at Zen was more amazing than we could have imagined! Jeff and Cameron were more than helpful with all of our questions and requests. They helped us not only with planning in their event space, but were also very helpful in recommending other vendors we needed. They also went out of their way to accommodate our special request to incorporate some Indian flare into the decor. Jeff found a way to hang saris from the ceiling, and it made the already beautiful space feel like it was created just for us. When planning an event in Greenville, you can count on the team at Zen to make your day extra special without breaking the bank!

Staff was very helpful and courteous before, during and after the wedding reception .
Jeff used his expert artistic talent to incorporate the Indian Saris in the decor..
The staff went out of their way to secure some of the decorations and plants that were taken to zen for the event.
The staff also was kind and honest to go through the vacuum cleaner bag to look for a guest lost neck less.. They found the gold neck less and notified me to pick it up.

South Carolina Children's Theatre held our Caribbean Crush fundraiser at Zen for the second time this May. Everything ran smoothly and we could not have been happier with how the event turned out. The Zen staff was very flexible and just easy to work with throughout the year-long planning process, and they were a great resource for the many questions that I had along the way. The venue itself is great as well - we love being downtown and the combination of inside and outside spaces is just perfect for our event.

We have already booked Zen for our 2013 event, and I also recommended the venue to a friend who is planning a wedding for this fall (and she booked Zen as well). I'm looking forward to working with them on next year's event!

Zen is an incredible space. It is a great mix of modern and classy. I helped host a black tie charity event at Zen. The staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. Our daughter got married and used Zen for her ceremony and reception. Everyone we worked with at Zen was very helpful and went out of their way to help us with all that we needed. I would highly recommend Zen to others!

This was my first event at ZEN and I was highly impressed with their high level of customer service, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere that the staff and space provided. I can't wait to be a part of another event at Zen!

Zen was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony. It's a clean, artsy space and it was just right for our day. The staff there is super helpful and did everything to make us comfortable. I would highly recommend Zen for your special event needs.

Everything was just perfect for my daughter's wedding reception. I was so pleased with the venue, the staff, the bartenders, the decorations, etc. It was a great place to celebrate such a wonderful event.

We have already booked again for next year because we had such a good experience. The food was great, decorations were very nice and the staff were very friendly and accomadating. The only negative I heard afterward was that some employees said they really needed a plastic knife to cut the veggies because they were big and hard to eat with just a fork which I did not consider to be a big deal. We loved it.

We had our wedding reception at Zen in October. The venue accommodated our guests in a way that allowed them enough space but also created an intimate environment. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. They orchestrated a beautiful event that we enjoyed by us as well as our guests. We felt completely at easy with the staff taking care of the details the night of the reception, which allowed us to enjoy it. The venue itself is beautiful! It was worth every penny. We would recommend anyone to work with Jeff, Nancy, and his entire staff! Hopefully we can plan an event there again in the future.

We held our wedding reception at Zen and it was amazing. The Lotus Lounge is perfect with the color-changing lighting and modern artwork on the walls. We loved the brick details and very high ceilings. The bar staff were amazing serving delicious drinks all night. Everything turned out perfect and Nancy is fantastic to work with. We highly recommend Zen for your next event.

Zen is a unique space for hire. The staff was prompt, attentive and gracious. Cameron Poole was especially great to work with!

The guys at Zen were extremely nice and incredibly easy to work with. From our very first walk through to the day of my wedding, they were extremely helpful. They assisted us in finding a florist (and she was amazing) as well as renting extra tables and chairs. If I ever had a question I just shot them an email and always heard back within the hour. They were also very flexible with us, allowing us to come by several times before the event to get everything in order. Their venue is absolutely georgeous and requires little to no decorating. Since our wedding I've gotten so many compliments from our guest about how much they loved the venue, as well as comments from Facebook friends who did not attend but saw pictures. I would definitely recommend Zen to anyone planning an event!

This is a beautiful venue. It went above and beyond our expectations. You get a lot for your money here. Nancy was so wonderful! She took a lot of stress off of me and assisted with everything I needed in a timely manner. I highly recommend Zen for any occasion! We held our wedding reception at Zen in March. We had approx. 500 guests and rented out both rooms. We were looking for somewhere trendy, different, and beautiful. I could not imagine a place more perfect - from the staff to the decor to the layout of the facility - Zen had everything we were wanting, and more!
Cameron, Jeff, and the rest of the staff were always there to help with any questions we had while planning and had wonderful ideas to contribute! Their experience and creativity helped make our reception go so smoothly.
The location of Zen was prime. We used their shuttles to transport guests from the parking lots to Zen. This was great, especially for the older crowd (or the girls with uncomfy shoes)!
The industrial - modern style of Zen was perfect. From the high ceilings, to large glass windows, to murals and even the gorgeous bathrooms - Zen was not only beautiful, but UNIQUE. We did very little decorating and played up the large windows with votives. I still have people commenting on how beautiful everything was. We set food up in both rooms, had a bar in each room, and our guests loved roaming around to find new things. The balcony overlooked the dance floor and was perfect for guests that wanted to see everything going on.
The patio area was beautiful. The side entrance made a wonderful exit as our guests could all line up to send us on our way!
Zen was absolutely perfect and I would recommend Zen to ANYONE for ANY occasion. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the decor is breath-taking.

On Jan 14, 2011 we hosted our rehearsal dinner at Zen in Greenville, SC. To say we were pleased is an understatement! The venue, the staff's attention to the minutest detail was exemplary. Being from out of town (Birmingham, Al) made planning frightful until we booked Zen to host our event. We were totally pleased and made to feel comfortable. The chef from Good Life Catering prepared our meal for 110 guests, and it was flawless and made to order for each of us. I have nothing but the highest praise for the outcome of our event and the details leading up to it. I highly recommend Jeff and his staff at Zen in Greenville, SC if you are planning any occasion large or small!

Zen was, indeed, a beautiful, elegant space in which to have a rehearsal dinner and wedding reception for our son's wedding. We were very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the entire staff. They acquired/rented all the necessary tables, chairs, linens, dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. The wait staff provided friendly, efficient service for nearly 5 hours at the reception and approximately 3 hours for the rehearsal dinner. We used the smaller area for the rehearsal dinner, and it was perfect...beautiful and very accommodating for our approximately 100 guests. The larger area was perfect, too, for the 200+ guests who greatly enjoyed the band, the food, the audio/visual presentation, etc. Shane at Good Life Catering works very well with the Zen team in providing a beautiful and delicious presentation of food that was greatly enjoyed both at the rehearsal dinner and the reception. I highly recommend Zen and Good Life Catering! I would not hesitate to use both of these services for future functions that require beauty, professionalism, elegance, and scrumptious food!:-))

We had my son's rehearsal dinner at Zen in September 2010. We live out of town but from the very beginning Nancy was professional and helped me with all the arrangements. Jeff and Nancy made wonderful recommendations for the caterer (Good Life Catering) and florist (Me & Me designs) to make the dinner and table arrangements just perfect. All my guests at the rehearsal dinner raved about the service and the venue.

I was so happy that we had our event at Zen. I could not have been more pleased.

I highly recommend ZEN GREENVILLE as an excellent venue for a wedding ceremony and reception and/or any other evening event! I recently got married at ZEN on their patio and had my reception there immediately following. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating to my guests. Their recommendations for catering and DJ were spot on.

Zen was the perfect, unique venue for our wedding reception. The space is perfectly adaptable to different set-ups and creative ideas. Carrie was great to work with, always helpful. Our guests were very complimentary of the space and Zen looks great in photos. We would chose Zen again anyday!

Zen is absolutely gorgeous! It was the perfect modern look we were going for especially being from up north but in the south.

We were very happy we chose Zen for our wedding ceremony and reception! About 80% of our guests were coming in from out of town and we wanted a centrally located venue in the heart of downtown that was close to the hotels and attractions. From day 1 we received nothing but courteous and prompt attention from Cameron, our point of contact at Zen. Then, on the day of the wedding, I never felt anything other than perfect trust and peace in the hands of Zen staffers Amy and Steve!! They did an amazing job with set up, tear down, coordinating and logistics which was a huge relief to this bride who's wedding coordinator quit a week in advance!! Amy was also our bartender for the evening and I heard nothing but compliments about her from our guests in that capacity as well.

The high points regarding Zen for me were definitely the amazing staff, cool venue, great location, and the convenience of the included items at Zen (alcohol for a good price, linens, chairs, etc.). Also, on the day of the wedding the staff was very flexible for our needs. For instance, although we didn't rent out the whole space, Zen let us use their second event space as an area for the guests to stand out of the heat before the ceremony as well as for pictures afterwards once it started to rain!

I only took off half a star because it is a pretty pricy venue but is at least comparable for other downtown locations I visited. In my opinion you pretty much have to be ready to spend big bucks on the venue space if you want a downtown location.

I hired Zen for my wedding ceremony and reception. Every room and decoration was gorgeous. Contemporary and universal for any occasion. I could not imagine a more beautiful indoor venue. When circumstances began to change with the weather, the whole staff was helpful in being flexible with us. Cameron answered all of my emails and phone calls promptly. I think the most amazing aspect about the venue was that other than the floral arrangements, there was no need to decorate in any way. My guests continue to let me know how beautiful the ceremony was. The staff are flexible, gracious and the venue is aesthetically superior.

Zen is such a beautiful space for a wedding and/or reception! I live across the country, so between a really positive scouting trip by my mother to Zen, and the constant responsiveness via email and phone with Cameron, we chose Zen for both our wedding and reception in April 2014. We worked primarily with Cameron throughout the year of planning, and she was always incredibly responsive and friendly. All of our questions were always answered within a day and suggestions for placements, etc., were promptly provided when requested.

We rented the entire space, using the bamboo garden for the ceremony, the Lotus Lounge for a cocktail hour while the wedding party had photos taken, and then the Studio for the reception with buffet dinner and dancing. We also used the upstairs suite with full bathroom for the bride and bridesmaids to do final preparations. Because all areas are so attractive on their own, they required very little decorating from us, which made things very easy! We added no decorations outside in the bamboo garden, because the natural full greenery was very pretty without any additional decor. And the only decor added inside were floral centerpieces on each of the dinner tables in the Studio, as well as one very large floral arrangement at the entrance.

As the big day neared, Cameron communicated directly with our vendors, as needed, to answer any questions, and she met with us a couple of times the week of to ensure we all felt comfortable with the plan. There was a chance of rain, so she helped come up with a backup plan, which thankfully wasn't needed! The day of, the Zen team was helpful in making sure we had a perfect day. Many guests commented what a great venue Zen was, and I couldn't agree more! It's a modern space, simple yet elegant, and the staff is so easy to work with. I cannot imagine choosing a better place for our wedding/reception and would highly recommend it to others!

The staff was friendly, cooperative, punctual, and easy to work with. They were receptive to our suggestions and improved on them!
Cameron was our contact and a delight to work with. She kept a smile on her face every tine we saw her and even when we stopped in unexpectedly.

The location is absolutely gorgeous and the staff were very helpful in the planning and setup.
I will say that parking can be complex at this location (it is right off of main street and in down town) and reserved spaces were not always monitored by staff and several mixups ensued, but they were quickly straightened out.
Overall there were only a few stressors and on the big day things went pretty smooth. The setup and rooms looked lovely and it was very nice of them to lend us the use of the Suite room for myself and my bridesmaids to stay in and get ready in until the ceremony began.
I would definitely recommend this location to other brides to be.

Our company had our Christmas Party at Zen. The place was wonderful and the staff were over the top. They were there the whole evening to help any way they could no matter what we requested. Nancy and Amy were the best! Our bartender was Cindy and she was great! Everyone loved her and she was very good interacting with our group.
