We wanted variety when it came to desserts. We had a small cake for us to cut, and opted for Red Velvet for that one. We had three additional dessert options that were pre-portioned for quick bites so guests could try a few different ones. The bourbon banana pudding was definitely a favorite of the night. Thank you for amazing desserts and such professionalism. The team was very communicative in regards to setting up the tasting and providing so many options. The follow through on the day of the event was flawless. We highly recommend this bakery. -

I love Jennifer and Zell's Cottage Bakery. Her cakes are stunning and a work of art. I knew way before I was ever engaged that I wanted her to make my wedding cake and she did not disappoint. Our wedding cake was stunning and delicious, exactly what we hoped for. It was, to say the least, perfect. In addition to making the perfect cake for us, she is also a blast to be around. Our cake tasting was extremely fun and enjoyable, she has an amazing personality. Despite our venue being at least an hour and a half away from her location and unexpected Atlanta traffic that delayed a lot of guests, she had the cake delivered and set up on time and before the ceremony. ❤️ -

Cake was beautiful and decorative cookies looked amazing!
Jennifer was so great to work with. Her cake tasting was fun and unique. She listens to what we wanted and created the most beautiful cake. We also asked for big foot cookies which came out so cute and tasty! -

Absolutely terrific
Working with Jennifer was a fantastic experience, fun and easy, it made getting everything we wanted in a perfect cake. The tasting presentation was amazing with so many choices and helpful ideas. The cake was delivered and set up with no problems. It looked fantastic and tasted even better. We had many compliments from our guests. I highly recommend working with Jennifer to create just what you want for your special event. She is very good at communicating with you, has a terrific product and makes it fun! -

Perfect cake to accompany a perfect wedding day!
My daughter, Ashley, got married yesterday at our church and had the reception at The Chair Factory. We used Zell's Cottage Bakery for the cake and it was absolutely amazing!!! Not only was it beautiful on the outside, but it tasted wonderful on the inside. We received many compliments on the cake. We loved the the cake texture and flavors and pureness of the icing. No dyes, just pure simple flavor. We went with the vanilla cake and chose different buttercream flavors (the coffee buttercream is unique and AH-MAZING!!) for each layer, plus had a sheet cake same flavor as one of the layers, and all were delicious! Jennifer also placed my mother's cake topper on the cake and added some flowers which made it extra special. In our correspondences with Jennifer, she worked to provide us with cake size options to stay close to our budget, as well as multiple choices for the decorative icing. Everything was perfect! Your Dessert Bar Dreams
I can't speak in regards to her full on wedding cakes, although I have no doubt that they are just as delicious, but if your wedding vision includes a dessert bar of any kind, just go ahead and book Jennifer NOW. Not only are her packages affordable for the number of desserts you're getting, but she has such a large variety of options to choose from and they are ALL so good. Jennifer was even so kind as to work with me on a few vegan options for my family and they were a huge hit! I cannot recommend her services enough. You won't regret it! -

Beauty with Taste
Jennifer did an amazing job creating my daughter’s vision of a “Van-choc-straw” cake because of her love of “Van-choc-straw” ice cream. She wanted it with berries and flowers. She created it perfectly, and it tasted amazing! -

Wedding cake you will actually look forward to eating on your Anniversary
Jennifer is a dream to work with! She was so creative and helped make our vision a reality. You can tell she cares greatly about her work and the couples she gets to work with.
Not into a traditional cake? Jennifer turned my husband's love for chocolate chip cookies and M&Ms into an awesome tiered M&M cookie cake that looked as great on display as it tasted!
I had yet to go to a wedding where the cake wasn't as hard as a rock, dried out, or so covered in fondant that it turned your mouth blue. Thus began my quest to find a wedding cake worth eating...
We found Jennifer at a vendor fair and after tasting her strawberry champagne cake (which is to DIE for), she warmly told us about how much care and work goes into her craft, and I was struck by how a cake that looked so elegant could taste so much like......cake. A real cake, like the "I just used my finger to scrape the last bit of icing off the plate and now I really want seconds but I am in public" kind of cake. Now that was what I was looking for!
Whether you have an eye for the edgy, or just want a white buttercream frosting cake that just tastes darn good, Zells is the way to go! -

Wedding Cakes
Zell's Cottage Bakery did an amazing job with our cakes. Jennifer was able to bring our vision to life... plus they were absolutely delicious!!!! As the bride and groom, we were lucky that a member of our bridal party thought ahead of time to save us a slice of each to enjoy later that night agree the wedding. Our guests were going back for seconds (and thirds...lol)... because they were that yummy!!! I would highly recommend Zell's Cottage Bakery to anyone looking for a specialty cake!! -

Delicious wedding cake
Wow, Jennifer made the wedding cake for my daughter‘s wedding. To begin, my daughter really did not care to have a wedding cake because she said she has never had one that taste good. I overruled her. After she ate a piece, she said that was the best piece of cake she has ever had. It was amazing! It was also so beautiful. Jennifer is very talented.🥰 -

We started our experience with Zell’s in a super fun brewery for our tasting! It was such an awesome experience and Jennifer is so friendly and clearly very good at her job. We had Zell’s make our groom cake and our wedding cake, both very different in aesthetics and flavor. They both turned out AMAZING. We paid the travel fee for them to deliver to our venue 3 hours from their bakery — that’s how much I wanted their cakes at my wedding. We did tastings with several other cake bakers and Zell’s blew our expectations out of the water. You absolutely will not regret choosing them!

Hire her! She's amazing!
I told her my vision and she made it more beautiful! Everyone loved the taste of the cake and how beautiful it was. The amount of people after the wedding who told me how much they love the cake was insane. Don't walk, run! The photos don't do the cake justice. Also she was one of the best vendors when it came to replying and communication! -

Best of the best
Zell’s did such a great job making my cake dreams possible. I wanted sparkly, bohemian and with a touch of macaroons. She made that look cohesive which could not have been easy and the flavor was so, so good! I received complements the entire night about how great it tasted! -

Professional, beautiful, delicious

Since our initial meeting, Jennifer has been wonderful to work with. Her cupcakes our out of this world tasty and her decorations are very artistic. She was even able to put a picture of our dog on our wedding cookies which brought a tear to my eye when I finally saw them on our big day. WOW!! Jennifer is truly an artist with sugar!! Not only are her cakes unique and beautiful, but they taste DELICIOUS!!! We really appreciated the ability to totally customize the flavors of the cake and the fillings/icings....she has so many choices!! We were referred to Zell's by another cake baker because we were looking for someone who could build a sculpted speciality cake for the groom's cake. People were absolutely amazed when they saw a groom's cake shaped like a US Navy Submarine!!! And they are still talking about it. So unique and the chocolate cake with raspberry, chocolate ganache filling was over the top delicious! For the wedding cake she worked in conjunction with our florist to make a fabulous classic (but OH so delicious) bride's cake !! In addition to the two cakes, Jennifer also made us some wonderful small desserts. She is so versatile and really listens to what you want....she will create your visions in sugar!!! I highly recommend Zell's!! Great value, ability to work with other vendors, but most of all delicious, artistic cakes and desserts that everyone LOVES!! -

Best wedding cake ever
Jennifer at Zell’s Cottage Bakery went above and beyond my expectations on my daughter’s wedding cake and the grooms cake this past Saturday. We gave her a basic idea of what designs we wanted and she nailed both cakes. It was also the best tasting cake ever!!! She is simply amazing! -

Most amazing team to work with!
Jennifer is AMAZING, beyond words the most genuine woman we had the pleasure of meeting and hanging with for the short time of the tasting. Her creativity is more than I could have asked for. There were absolutely no limits, whatever ideas I had, she would take them and make them even better! Our cakes were outstandingly beautiful (She made us a kettlebell cake - we're fitness buffs - that was SO realistic, so much so that someone tried to pick it up) Best Cake Lady Ever :) -

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful to work with. It started with our cake tasting, the way she constructs her tasting is perfect. You literally get to build your own cake from scratch. The cake flavor, fillings, frosting, you literally get to pick it all. She was always quick to respond to our emails and messages and is the sweetest soul to talk and work with. The cakes were absolutely delicious and a big hit at the wedding, everyone talked about all the delicious flavors and how even though they don’t usually like cake, they loved our wedding cakes! -

Jennifer was an absolute dream to work with! We postponed and then reduced our wedding from 100 people to 20 and Jennifer worked with us every step of the way. She always responded to our emails quickly, even when my fiancé and I were both emailing her about different events. She even created white chocolate teacups for my bridal shower cake that people couldn't believe weren't real cups! We gave her full creative freedom for the 3 one-tier cakes we did for our wedding and they were more perfect than anything I could've imagine. Our guests loved the cupcakes too and we had to make sure we put some aside for ourselves or we wouldn't have had any because they were so popular. We will absolutely continue to use Zell's for cake, cupcakes, and cookies in the future. -

Jennifer did the cakes for our rehearsal dinner + wedding and we were BLOWN AWAY!
First of all - The cake she did for rehearsal dinner was ABSOLUTELY amazing - We had to tell people it was a cake because it looked so real! (HA) We did a bottle of prosecco + a miller lite bottle in an ice bucket - The creativity, detail, and absolute deliciousness she puts into her cake are AMAZING.
Our wedding cake was equally as beautiful and delicious and we could not be happier! -

If you're looking for a cake vendor for your wedding, look no further! Jennifer at Zell's Cottage Bakery is incredible. She's a pleasure to work with and our cake looked beautiful! Not to mention, the cake tasting was so fun and her flavors are amazing (which says a lot because my husband and I are not huge cake people in general) -- we couldn't decide on one flavor so we chose three different flavors for each tier of our cake. If you don’t select Jennifer for your baking needs, you are seriously missing out. I’m definitely a type-A bride and Jennifer exceeded my expectations and made cake-tasting SUCH a fun experience. It was so enjoyable to be able to create custom flavors for our wedding cake and my husband’s groomsmen cake—flavors included chocolate infused Guinness with Bailey’s frosting, chocolate covered strawberry cake, and apple cinnamon cake—every single one was AMAZING. We have received so many compliments, and I can’t even wait until our one year anniversary...we’re ordering cupcakes for my husband’s birthday this month! Jennifer, also, as a person is kind, attentive, and knows her stuff so I trusted her with everything in regard to delivery and set up wholeheartedly. Definitely a must-add to your wedding vendor list or if you’re in need of a true treat! -

November 16, 2019 Wedding
Jennifer did an absolutely AMAZING job with my wedding cake! I couldn’t have asked for anything better! It was beyond gorgeous and tasted so incredible! So (funny story!!) when I was hidden away in the venue before the wedding started, the caterers who were setting up inside found me and said, “Have you SEEN your wedding cake? It is absolutely gorgeous!” They were taking their own personal pictures of the cake!! They made it a point to just come and tell me how beautiful the cake was! I hadn’t seen it before that moment, so right before I was supposed to exit the venue I made it point to look at it in person before the craziness began! That was the one thing people raved about my wedding, and it turned out better than my Pinterest board dreams! -

We wanted a naked wedding cake decorated with real flowers and Jennifer at Zell's Cottage Bakery definitely made it happen! And not only did the cake look gorgeous but it tasted amazing too. We had a lemon flavored cake with fresh strawberries and buttercream frosting layered in between. Jennifer, also, made the tasting process a breeze, even coming to our home with samples to try. Would highly recommend! -
