Mike was our DJ for our wedding in Atlanta, GA in October 2025. He was incredibly professional, organized, flexible in scheduling, and met all of our requests. When we reached out to him for an inquiry he was very responsive. At our all vendor meeting a month and half before our wedding, he was by far our most calm and organized vendor and he put us at ease with all of our questions and concerns. It was also helpful that he had been to our venue (Piedmont Park Dockside and Greystone) for a previous event, so he had the experience of the space to create a beautiful ambiance with his music and lighting. On the big day, he was on time to everything and cued the proper songs during the ceremony and reception at the perfect times. He used the mic only when making the announcements we requested. He DJing skills are amazing and he set the vibes for the entire night. He read the room for the crowd and played music that fit the mood, and he played all of our "must plays". I was the kind of bride who loves to dance and there was little to no time where I wanted to leave the dance floor just because Mike was playing banger after banger. He was our best vendor and he really nice person. I would HIGHLY recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for a DJ in Atlanta. Thanks Mike! -

It was such a pleasure working with Mike and we appreciated how organized and professional he is - there was never any stress during our event. The timeline he helped us create was very beneficial for us and all other vendors we worked with. Also, every guest we talked to was raving about how awesome Mike is and how much they enjoyed the music! It made our wedding so special and SO much fun! The music and experience of working with Zegi really was one of the best and smoothest parts of our wedding. I would highly recommend Zegi to anyone needing a DJ for their event -

When planning our wedding reception, we knew that music would be one of the most important parts of our experience. We immediately knew that the Zegi team would be the perfect fit to make our night amazing. Mike was organized, collaborative and helped us craft an incredibly special evening. He understood our vibe and took the time to review our inspiration playlists, and worked with me on a good flow of events. He also helped us pick out an ensemble that would make it extra special - including percussion and sax. He worked with me to keep the sax a surprise from my fiance to make the night extra special. We got so many compliments from everyone - including our friends, bartenders and photographers - on how much fun and how good the music was. You can't go wrong with this team! -

Our wedding was more of a blast than we ever thought it could be - and that is definitely thanks to Zegi. Leading up to the wedding, Mike was so responsive and accommodating to our needs, working with us on lighting and sound which turned out impeccable. Our DJ, Greg, was so fantastic that we had several comments throughout the night on how great the DJ was. He created a true dance party, which is exactly what we were going for. One of our guests even told us our party felt like we were at the Brooklyn Mirage (one of my fave dance venues!). He fully delivered with mash-ups bringing in old and new and got people on the dancefloor and staying there. Thank you for an unforgettably amazing night! -

Mike was the absolute best to work with and his performance at our wedding was incredible!! Everyone was out on the dance floor for a full two hours and he kept the party going the whole time - I had so many people tell me that Mike is the best DJ that had ever heard! His communication and thoughtfulness about the whole day was impeccable. I trusted him completely and am so glad I did because he made our wedding unforgettable! -

Mike was simply the best! He was our favorite vendor to work with. He curated our perfect wedding playlist by listening to us and offering guidance as needed. Mike was quick to respond whenever we had a question and I really appreciated that he was present for our walk though. As the bride, I felt confident and at ease going into the wedding because of the time and effort he put into the planning process. He also did an amazing job on the lighting, which set the vibe for dancing! We received so many compliments from our guests and we could not recommend him enough - THANK YOU MIKE! -

Mike was the best DJ for our wedding, better than we could have asked for! A few years before getting married, my husband and I attended a wedding where Mike was DJing. When we got married, there was no question about who we wanted to be our DJ. Leading up to our big day, Mike was so prompt and quick to reply whenever we had questions. The day of the wedding, he did a great job keeping up with our crowd and tailoring the music to fit the needs of everyone in attendance. His music transitions throughout the ceremony and reception were perfect. Mike brought so much positive energy and we couldn’t have been more happy. We highly recommend Mike! You won’t be disappointed! -

Mike was absolutely awesome! Not only was he extremely flexible and helpful, but also so much fun. He made our reception a blast and kept the energy level up throughout the night. No one wanted it to end. All of our guests said they had the best time and really enjoyed the DJ. If you are looking for a DJ for your upcoming wedding, do not skip over Zegi! Mike worked with us on a playlist. He allowed us to make some selections while also helping suggest some great additions. He was on time and friendly and overall a great DJ. Our friends & family love a good party so we wanted to make sure we found the perfect DJ and we truly believe we did. We will always recommend Zegi to everyone! If I could give more stars I would. -

When we were looking around trying to book a DJ, our wedding planner suggested Zegi. We interviewed with another DJ prior but we were sold after speaking with Mike. They were able to customize the setup for our needs and they adjusted on short notice when we asked for additional equipment just days before. Mike and Greg did a very thorough job prepping for our wedding and making sure the schedule worked properly and all of the music was to our taste. Once our reception started, there wasn't a single "dead" moment on the dance floor and all of our guests we've spoken with since had nothing but great things to say! 10/10 I would recommend these guys to anybody! -

Mike is the best!
We met Mike at my cousin's wedding 3 years ago, and one of the first decisions we made when planning our wedding was that we wanted him to be our DJ. Our music and dancing was one of the top priorities for our wedding, and Mike beyond delivered. He worked with us to perfect our styles of music for the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and we got so many compliments on the selection, from Black Pumas and Leon Bridges for dinner to Latin Dance for the reception. He also created a custom version of my father-daughter dance and sent it so we could have a keepsake. We had to reschedule our wedding several times due to COVID and changed dates and locations three times, and Mike was flexible, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Mike was great all around, and we highly recommend him for any event. -

Mike did such a great job at our wedding and was such a pleasure to work with! From the very beginning of the experience to the end, he exhibited so much professionalism, timeliness, care, and expertise. Each request or question I had, he handled with so much tact, thoroughness, knowledge, and care. The wedding day was handled perfectly, he had everyone out dancing, regardless of the age and did a great job incorporating all types of songs and vibes to make the reception unforgettable. Having Mike Zarin be a part of our day was the best decision we could have made! We had a hard time deciding on a wedding DJ because it is one of the most important parts of a wedding and after reading other reviews of Mike and speaking to him.....our search was finally over. Mike is extremely organized and thorough and sent us over Google documents to start planning our ceremony and reception. He took our song lists and ran with it during the reception and it couldn't have turned out better. Mike read the crowd and played songs that he knew would get everyone up and dancing. He killed it with his mixes and there was never a point in the night that no one was on the dance floor - I literally danced the night away! ALL of my guests just raved about how awesome Mike was for our wedding. We couldn't be more thankful of Mike and how amazing he is at his craft! -

Mike is such a friendly guy and really felt the crowd! He asked us a couple month in advance what songs we wanted to hear and did amazing feeding off of that better than I could ever imagine! The night of I was having people ask me for his contact info. He really made my night because the music is such an important part of a reception and he nailed it! -

He also did a great job announcing our reception and keeping the do not play songs away. Your DJ can make or break your event, and we recommend him highly!! -
User3066915 Sent on 05/24/2017We hired Mike to DJ at our wedding upon a friend's recommendation. From start to finish, Mike was extremely easy to work with. He helped us with customizing the song list and made good suggestions for the lighting package. While seamless planning is important, at the end of the day, everything boils down to the event itself, and we could not have been happier with the outcome. Mike easily read our audience, chose music that matched the evening's mood and smoothly transitioned from one song to the next. He combined our parents' song requests from the 70s and 80s with more contemporary music and turned it into a great set that worked with all guests at our wedding. In addition, he spoke the right amount for what the event called for. We found Mike to be extremely adaptable and outside of his technical abilities, this is what holds him apart. He made the event feel like ours, never pushed his own personal music preferences, was willing to help as much or as little as we wanted, and was generally a very pleasant person to work with. Our wedding guests are already devising ways to book him for an event and we would highly recommend him to anyone in the future. -

Heather Sent on 12/12/2012Mike was great for our wedding reception at Heritage Sandy Springs. We were really careful to stay away from any kind of hokey, stereotypical wedding DJs, and Mike was the right guy (and stylish to boot!). He was more of a club DJ, was good at mixing songs (I don't know DJ-speak) to make them flow one after the other. He also provided subtle lighting in the dance area, and a lav mic for the minister for the ceremony. He made minimal announcements, which was good for us, and didn't try to put on some sort of act like I've seen at other weddings - ugh. One thing we were missing was some slow dancing songs, but honestly we never even realized it until after the wedding so I guess it wasn't noticeable. I just think that some guests won't dance if they can't dance slow, so it may have gotten more people onto the dance floor. I also found out later that people had been requesting songs like Gangnam Style and some Michael Jackson, and that they didn't get played until the end of the night (still super fun though). Truthfully, my husband was the one communicating with Mike during the planning process, so there could be a reason. I have a feeling Mike had a lot of requests from us to begin with and was trying to fit them all in. Highly recommend!
