My daughter had her wedding dress altered here. Gina is very talented and has an eye for beauty. The dresses in her shop created by her are absolutely stunning. My daughters dress bustle was Ginas unique creation. It was a bustle I had never seen before. Really allowed my daughter to be able to dance and move freely during reception. My daughter commented during reception that the dress was extremely comfortable. I credit this to the expert alterations. When we picked the dress up and Ginas husband showed us everything we needed to know about getting the dress in and out of the car and what to do the day of the wedding. He showed us how to get it in and out of the bag. We also purchased her veil at Zatsarina's. Neither the veil or the dress needed any steaming or last-minute touch ups the day of the wedding. Gina and her staff always wore gloves when handling my daughters dress so the oils from their hands did not stain the dress. Hands down best place to get a wedding dress or get it altered. Thank you, Gina. -

From the moment I stepped into her studio, I knew I found something special. Gina's extraordinary talent to understand exactly what I envisioned made my dress and the day perfect! I felt more beautiful than I ever have. The dress fit perfectly, accentuating all the right features while still making me feel comfortable and confident. It allowed me to dance all night long! People are still marveling at the unique design and asking who had created such a stunning gown—classic yet innovative, elegant and perfect representation of my personality. I had a vision that she not only brought to life but enhanced in the most beautiful way!

The perfect fit!
Gina altered my wedding dress, a halter neck, open back, soft satin gown with front slit and back button detailing. So many people told me my dress looked like it was made for me, and that’s all thanks to Gina! The dress was comfortable and flattering, and the bustle she added was seamlessly and impressively hidden.

I have been in couture for 35 years . i’ve dressed many wonderful clients all over the world . i had a company in brooklyn ny named francesca couture on ave u . i can’t begin to tell you the quality of workmanship , the expertise of fittings is ABOVE AND BEYOND . Gina had made dresss for my daughter and my clients who i highly recommended to her . i’ve been retired for sometime and why because you just don’t find tailoring like this anymore .. don’t walk RUN .. tell her anthony sent you .. ! -

I went with Zatsarina after scouring online reviews - after buying my dream dress I wanted it to fit! I've been a hobby seamstress for ~20 years, and it is so clear that Gina is a professional and a perfectionist. She does everything exactly the best way it is supposed to be done. She did an incredible job with my dress, which was far from simple (lace with boning in the bodice.) Extremely happy with the results! The dress fit like a glove and was comfortable my whole wedding day. I also love the way she does her bustle, which is easy to fasten and makes your train just disappear. On top of that, her husband does a great job with customer support, and tells you everything you need to know and what to expect re: timeline, scheduling, etc. I never had an issue moving appointments or getting a hold of someone on the phone. Would choose Zatsarina again, a thousand times. -

Gina is the best in business
Gina knocked it out of the park. When I brought my dress to her she had to take it in several sizes after losing a lot of weight over the past year. She basically had to reconstruct the dress and it fit like a glove at the end. I really enjoyed working with her and was constantly impressed with her methodical approach overall. I made myself available throughout the last six weeks to accommodate multiple trips. I have worked with them on several dresses as I grew up locally so I knew exactly who I wanted to bring the dress to when it came to my wedding. Highly recommend. -

Wedding Gown Alterations
Gina was incredible, sweet, and understanding! After getting my dress at Abigail Bride in Asbury Park, I was referred by a few people to go to Zatsarina for my gown alterations. Gina and Victor are extremely professional and knowledgeable! I felt comfortable and confident from my very first appointment. With Gina’s amazing skills, she altered my dress so it fit me to perfection! She also added hooks for the wings and they packaged my dress to be transported is easily as possible! Gina altered my moms MOB dress as well, which came out perfectly! I would highly recommend Zarsarina for any bridal alterations! Thank you Gina! -

I couldn't have wished for better service
I actually purchased my dress on ebay and while it was amazing it needed some help to be perfect. I needed to have a bustle added, it had to be hemmed, taken in and the bust line needed to be fixed because it was bent every which way.
In the end my dress was more than perfect and well packaged for survival until my wedding day.
Even though the shop is super busy, they were able to accommodate my scheduling needs even when I needed to reschedule one of my fittings. -

I had my alterations done here and I was so happy that I did. Gina was so easy to work with and she is amazing at what she does! I really felt taken care of that felt sure I was in good hands. When I picked up my dress, it was wrapped so nicely and they helped me to my car. My dress fit perfectly! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. -

Gina and her team were absolutely incredible! Gina is extremely meticulous and made sure my wedding gown and my mother's MOB dress fit perfectly. We both had illusion elements on the backs of our dresses and Gina made sure they lay absolutely smooth and didn't wrinkle or buckle as we moved. My dress fit me like a glove and looked like it was custom made for me by the time she was done with it. Any brides who are nervous about their alterations I 100% encourage you to visit Gina and let her take all your fears away. -

Perfectly altered
When my wedding dress came in rather large I was so concerned that it would never look like the dress I tried on. Thanks to Gina I was so wrong. She altered it perfectly to my body and the end result was nothing short of perfect. She was so sweet and easy to work with, because of COVID I couldn't have anyone with me for my fittings so when it came time to learn how to bustle my dress her and her team took so much time to show me and even took a video so that I could show my maid of honor and it came in handy to reference on my wedding day. Since my wedding day got postponed she even offered to steam it again right before my new date (which it didn't end up needing). Thank you so much for helping making my big day perfect!! -

Beyond Amazing!
Update: Gina delivered my dress on the wedding day! After an anxiety attack (haaa of course right!?) she was able to hand sew and loosen the dress a bit so I could feel looser in my dress. The dress fit perfectly even before she had to loosen it (that was due to ME having anxiety) but hey, she did it and that just shows how talented she is!! She did it ON the spot. My dress was immaculate and everyone said how beyond beautiful it was in person!! Thank you Gina! I will be forever grateful!!
Gina is the absolute best! I am having my dress custom made by her and she has been amazing every step of the way. Making a dress can be stressful, because you can't see the final product and it causes a lot of indecisiveness and ocd on my end! Gina has been so understanding and answers all of my concerns and questions (which has been a lot!) I am naturally a very particular person, and she has been extremely patient and kind. Her and her husband fit me into the schedule whenever I have a concern and are always there to answer any calls. They're simply the best. My dress looks gorgeous and we are at the final end of the process and I cannot wait to see the final result. I feel confident and beautiful so far so I can't even imagine the final outcome. Gina is incredible with tiny changes that need to be made and has an eye for art. She is a true artist who I highly recommend! -

Gina is absolutely amazing! I ordered a custom wedding dress from an online company that unfortunately messed up on several details of my dress. So there was a lot of beading and alterations that needed to be made (on top of sizing it down significantly from weight loss) Gina was so calm and collected considering I gave her a dress that needed at least a few months of work done on it but only had 8 weeks! AND she packed my entire dress for me in my suitcase (destination wedding)
Her skill is jaw dropping! She is truly a master of what she does. She’s also genuinely a super nice person. She took a messily made dress and made it a beautifully embellished, figure hugging, beauty of a dress. Go to her!!!! You will not regret it! -

Gina & Zatsarina Fashion = Truly Amazing!
My husband and I got married in March 2019 in the Monmouth County (NJ) area. We booked our venue in March 2018 and, by that July, I picked out my dress and all of my bridesmaids had made their selections as well! I reached out to Zatsarina Fashion in mid-November 2018 after I received my dress from the bridal salon and booked my consultation/first fitting for early December 2018. From there, I placed by deposit and had three other fittings – ending a month before my wedding. Three of my bridesmaids, my mother and my husband’s mother all had their dresses altered by Gina and her team. That expression, “fits like a glove,” does not even begin to express how wonderful the dresses fit! Every appointment was super easy – I just put on the dress and Gina worked her magic! To say she is a Fairy God Mother is not over-exaggerating! My dress ended up having two bustles which were designed so perfectly that my maid-of-honor and husband, both bustle novices, had little to no issues. I picked up my dress a few days before my wedding, it was hung in my closet at home and then in the hotel’s closet until I was ready to get dressed on the big day, and it looked as if I picked it up just hours before! I would not change a single moment during this entire experience; and cannot thank Gina and her team enough for all of their work and attention-to-detail. I would recommend Gina and Zatsarina Fashion to everyone – not just the nervous brides-to-be! -

This place is amazing and Gina is a magician! From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable and Gina and her husband were extremely friendly and professional. I had a fit and flare dress that was very big on top, but extremely tight to the point where I could barely take a step without feeling like I was going to topple over, in the hips. There was a huge bunching of fabric right in the hip section and it looked awful. I was terrified that my dream dress wasn't going to be able to be adjusted to fit my body type right and even more terrified that I wasn't going to be able to dance at my wedding! Gina assured me that she could fix it. Each fitting the dress began to fit better and better and by my last fitting the dressed fit my body like a glove in all the right places and there wasn't a single bit of bunching in the hip area. I was able to walk, sit, and dance the night away at my wedding without feeling restricted. I can't thank Gina enough for calming my nerves each fitting, answering my millions of questions and concerns, and for of course making my dream dress fit absolutely perfect. If you are looking for an excellent seamstress with the utmost professionalism this is the place to go! -

Gina did an amazing job with my wedding dress alterations. Like most, I needed my dress hemmed, and she moved a giant flower appliqué on the front of it like it was nothing (I have no idea how she did it). She really takes the time to make sure everything is absolutely perfect (she encourages you to come back for a “final final” fitting two weeks out so she can recheck everything and they can resteam/press), and you can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work (I saw a few of her own designs while I was there and they were stunning). Plus, she’s affordable—and in Red Bank no less. My MIL got her dress hemmed after me at my recommendation, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thanks, Gina! -

Magical...It's the only word that comes to mind to describe Gina's talent. She's like a freakin' Unicorn...rare, amazing, and an overall stunner.
When I got engaged, the first thing I did was start the search for... you guessed it, THE dress! Thankfully, I found it on pinterest very quickly;however, finding it in person was more difficult. It was out of my budget and I had to search for it on used dress sites. After a few weeks I finally found it....in a size 8. Cool right? Well, not really..I am a size 0. Now what? You buy it anyway...which is what i did.I figured 'how hard could it be to find someone to alter it?'. Apparently, very hard. No bridal store would help me because "I didn't buy it from them". So what did I do? I took to google where I found Zatsarinas Fashion. A definite win for me! I contacted Gina, set up an appointment and my dress journey began.
When i arrived, I didn't now what to expect. Would she tell me it's too much work? Could she get an 8 to a 0 without it looking weird? Would it cost me too much money? Spoiler alert...she could, and she did and it was magnificent!
I got in the dressing room thinking I'd have to explain everything I wanted, but before I even had a chance,I was in the dress..she had me pinned and tucked in literally 5 minutes time. I looked in the mirror at MY dress. It fit me...I could envision it. It looked normal. Perfect. It was like she was in my mind. Knowing what I wanted without a word. I knew I could trust her after that. She, hands down, knew what she was doing.
Over the course of the next year, Gina and her husband took this ride with me. They became friends. People I looked forward to seeing. Not only are Gina and her team professional and talented, they genuinely care about their customers. Gina never rushed me at any fitting, she made sure everything was perfect, and wouldn't let me leave until things were exactly how they needed to be. There were times I was like "this is fine" and she'd be like "nope! not yet". I even brought my rehearsal dress, bridal shower and bachelorette jumper to her too because, well, I'm spoiled now by expert tailoring. Turns outs Gina isn't only naturally good at what she does, shes highly learned in her craft. She's went to school all over the world for years and it shows in her final garments. She put so much work into my dress. She had to remake an entire double bustle for my train, make two veils out of one, and hem it all because I'm so short. Gina was extremely hands on. You can often find her on the floor working with your dress, showing you what to do, and really makes it easy. She has a customer and friend for life, not just by me, but by several of my friends who also subsequently used her.
Thank you Gina and Victor for all you have done. You made my journey an absolute joy. Thank you for the dress of my dreams.
Bottom line: If you want to truly be cared for, from start to finish, all with expert tailoring...Zatsarinas Fashion is where you need to go.

Gina is amazing! My dress was completely lace and needed a lot of work to fit perfectly. I had 3 fittings and then stepped into my dress one last time before the wedding for any last-minute changes. I wanted my train to be bustled to lay flat and Gina made 2 gorgeous bustles that did exactly what I wanted (even better than I envisioned). Gina made sure my dress fit perfectly on the day of my wedding. I would highly recommend going to Zatsarina Fashion for your wedding dress alterations. -

From the first moment I walked in the doors, to my final fitting, I had peace of mind that my wedding dress was in good hands. I needed my dress hemmed and the top shortened so that the sleeves didn't fall off my shoulders. My dress involved a lot of intricate beadwork that Gina and her team did an amazing job working around and they even made sure to go over all the beading very carefully to ensure nothing was loose for my special day. I highly recommend Zatsarina if you're looking for wedding dress alterations. Especially if your dress involves beadwork, don't look any further, Zatsarina is the place!
