Yuvi Plena was an absolute blast! Many of my husband’s friends and family had never been to Puerto Rico, so we knew we wanted to treat our guests to a few unforgettable cultural experiences, and Yuvi Plena did not disappoint.
Our guests absolutely loved the plenero parade after the ceremony! It was the perfect way to kick off the celebration. The Yuvi Plena team was incredibly communicative and professional throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, our ceremony ran ahead of schedule (I know, very unusual for weddings), but Yuvi Plena was ready to go and rolled with the punches seamlessly.
I couldn’t recommend them enough. 10/10 -

We contracted the services of Yuvi Plena for our wedding in Old San Juan. We asked them to play music as soon as we left the church as we walked towards the location of the reception. It was absolutely fabulous and it truly created a joyous ambiance for this celebration. Multiple guests told me that this was one of their favorite parts of the wedding. I would 100% hire them again and would recommend them to anyone getting married in PR hoping to incorporate traditional Puerto Rican plena into their wedding or other type of event as well. -

Wow!! Adrian and his team were amazing!! All of our guests still can’t stop talking about this part of the wedding. A good amount of our wedding guests live in Puerto Rico and are of course familiar with plena, but for the many that traveled to celebrate with us from Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, Florida, California, England, and Guatemala, Yuvi Plena was the absolute highlight. The pleneros and dancers escorted us from our ceremony at La Rogativa to our reception at El Convento, kick-starting our wedding celebration in the best way possible. We hired their package with the stilt walkers and the "cabezudos" and our guests that flew in from New Jersey were absolutely FLOORED. We had our ceremony at Catedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista and our reception across the street at Hotel El Convento. We had a planeros band from Yuvi Plena surprise all of our guests outside of the Catedral. They danced and sang outside the church before leading everyone into cocktail hour. Life of the party!!!
Yuvi Plena managed to get just about 100% of our guests (from elder Puerto Ricans to "I can't dance" people from the US and elsewhere) up from their seats and join together in song, dance, and a conga line!! SO much contagious fun! We had 30 minutes of LIVE music and dancing and it was worth every second!! -

We had Yuvi Plena for "crazy hour" (30 minutes) during our reception and was the highlight of the party! It was a destination wedding, so everyone was really into the music and dancing. They arrived 60 minutes after the dance floor opened and they were the perfect hype. People stayed dancing until the end of the night after they left. We got props for our guests which also added to the experience. Hands down we recommend them! -

I cannot express how incredible this group was on our wedding day. From the moment they arrived, they brought an energy and excitement that was contagious.
My coordinator helped me quickly change into my second look just before they arrived, and they seamlessly integrated with the moment I entered the party. The atmosphere instantly became electric, and our guests went wild with excitement.
Despite the rain pouring down, we danced our hearts out and it was an experience like no other. The group's performance was simply outstanding, and they brought so much joy and entertainment to our celebration. The colors, the smiles, and the overall vibe they created were absolutely perfect.

Book Yuvi Plena NOW if they even maybe have availability. Every vendor we spelled with said they were the best island, and are always booked.
Recommendations still didn’t match how amazing this was! We had a freaking PARADE at our wedding (and it’s honestly affordable, don’t just think you can’t pull it off!).
A memory us and our guests will always cherish, and an absolute blast.

We hired Yuvi Plena to provide a street band for us to bring our wedding party from the ceremony site to the reception and it was a total hit!! Everyone loved the surprise and it really helped start the party off right!
We had a minor hiccup where my aunt was trying to surprise us with the same band and our planner didn't realize and we got double booked - but Yuvi was able to help us combine the two contracts into one and got it all squared away. In the end, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to bring that extra fun to the party! -

We are so happy we hired this band for our wedding. They were a very reasonable price and the perfect amount of time for a band. We didn't want a band the whole night. We wanted a nice mix of DJ and a fun way to share the amazing culture of Puerto Rico with great music. We hired the band and 2 Cabezudos (the dancers with the big head costumes) and they came at the right time. My friends from NJ LOVED them and my family members that live in PR were thoroughly impressed. Writing another review since I think our previous one didn't post and I want to make sure Yuvi Plena knows how much we loved them! They absolutely made our night and our guests STILL talk to us about how much they loved Hora Loca. Most of our guests are from the states and have never participated in an Hora Loca, and they had the greatest time dancing with the guys on stilts and participating in the dance party. Yuvi Plena was absolutely incredible to work with and are such kind people - don't hesitate to book them! -

Hire this company! They are unbelievable. It was SUCH an amazing way to kick off all of the fun and dancing during the evening. I personally had the pleasure of witnessing the jaws drop on many of our wedding guests as the band and dancers entered the room. What an amazing surprise for them. Not only was it one hell of a time, and so much fun, but we were definitely impressed by the music and dance talent of the performers. They were top notch! Yuvi Plena was so much fun and had everyone energized, dancing, and having a blast right before the fireworks set off! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Yuvi Plena!! My Planner Rosalina with Momentus recommended them, and I am so glad she did!! They were so easy to communicate with and I asked for extra dancers and characters at the last minute, and they made it happen. Such a great surprise for not only the guests, but also to me and the groom on how much fun they were. -

Last minute I told my wedding planner I wanted a cultural performing group at our reception, and she immediately suggested Yuvi Plena. I'm so glad we decided to hire them. They made our reception so fun, and got everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the night. We just hired them for a 30 minute show with one dancer and the 5 musicians, and loved it. We had a small wedding group (only 17 guests) so that length of time was perfect for us. The performers were full of energy the whole time, easy to work with as far as booking and payment, and completely professional. Definitely worth it if you are considering fun Puerto Rican style entertainment. They also traveled across the island for us! -

Yuvi Plena is the perfect way to start a wedding reception. We were running a little late, but the guys were more than accommodating. Their performance was spot on and the dancers had the crowd moving!
Most of my guest were from the states, so I wanted to infuse a bit of our culture into the mix and Yuvi Plena did just that! The singing, the dancing-I'm so glad I was able to share this experience with my guest!

Amazing Plena!
Sometimes things don’t go as planned and I had planned Yuvi Plena to come in right after cake cutting so they will get the party started after all the protocol... well, I was super late on everything and decided along with my coordinator to use them as a welcome to the reception and have guests followed them to the second floor of the venue. And it was the best thing that could’ve happened, it was magical, true Puertorrican plena at my wedding was a moment I was most excited for. They were super professional, fun, coordinated... and the perfect show to set up the tone for the rest of the reception as we are here to celebrate. A fun way to create extraordinary memories at my wedding day... I am forever grateful! -

I hired Yuvi Plena for our wedding, because they had also played at my sister's wedding and were a total hit. My father loved working with them back them because they were so professional, responsible and FUN! Therefore this time around we had no doubt that we wanted to have them in my wedding as well.
No surprise here, Yuvi Plena did it again!! They lit the party up and together with the Cabezudos, we danced so much.

Everyone’s favorite part of the night! Such a unique and fun surprise at the end of the reception. If you are getting married in Puerto Rico, I highly recommend you hire them for the reception. Most amazing hora loca experience
All our guests told us the best part of the wedding was the batucada. They were all so engaged and happy with the performance. I asked them to wear a lakers cap as thats my husband’s favorite basketball team and they surely did without any reservations. We had a blast. Yuvi Plena are the best "pleneros" you can have. They will make you move every muscle and every bone throughout the entire performance. Having Yuvi Plena at my wedding was by far the best decision that my husband and I made. They absolutely made our wedding the best and most fun wedding that many had been to.
