If you are a creative mind like myself and you are planning a wedding you need a person that is intelligent, open-minded and also creative to be the one to marry you and your love. Patricia is just that! She had so many wonderful Ideas to help us prepare our ceremony. Very charismatic and personable and willing to work with you to make your day a perfect one. We did a Handfasting and Ring Ceremony on our Star Wars Day wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony. Unforgettable. Give her a shot, you won't regret it. Thank you Patricia for everything!! It was wonderful working with Patricia Burgess. She Officiated our April First 2023 wedding and was such a pleasure to work with. Patricia came to visit us twice before our wedding so that we seem like old friends on our wedding day. Patricia's process of providing vow choices is brilliant. She provided us with a book with hundreds of options to choose from which worked well for us as we just picked our favorite parts and took out what we didn't want to use. She was also receptive to whatever needed to be changed. On our wedding day we got great feedback on our ceremony and I would attribute its success to Patricia. Everything felt personalized specifically for us and she is a great orator. It was windy so her mic cut on and off but that was not her fault, and the videographer captured everything clearly as we were mic'ed up. Patricia sent our marriage license and followed up with name change instructions (just in case) via email after the wedding. Please Hire this woman. She is excellent. You know its about more than just money with Patricia and it is evident that getting to know couples before their big day and making sure they have a beautiful wedding ceremony is of the utmost importance to her. Thanks Patricia for taking care of us. We are so grateful to you. -

Patty was absolutely phenomenal to have as our officiant! She went above and beyond to get to know us. She made our ceremony truly unique and special for us. We had four meetings with Patty, and by the time it was a week before our wedding, it felt like we were being married by a true friend. Patty is so kind and loving and really pays attention to the little details. Her words are so elegant and touching. To this day, people are still talking about how beautiful our ceremony was. If you are in the need of an officiant, Patty will not disappoint! She is the very best! -

Between making a huge binder of options to help you decide on what you want in your ceremony to walking you through how to change your name after the fact, she truly cares about her couples and goes above and beyond to really get to know you. We were so so thankful to have found Patty Burgess from Your Wedding, Your Way!! Patty was exceptionally helpful as we planned our ceremony, and had personalized recommendations & suggestions to help us create an event we would love. We reached towards the end of our planning process from a different time zone and Patty was more than happy to set everything up quickly. Patty also suggested we reach out to Grant Mackay to officiate and he was a great fit for our day and for us as a couple! Patty wrote an excellent ceremony and Grant delivered it perfectly. Cannot recommend YWYW enough!

Patty is absolutely fabulous! Before working with Patty, we assumed our wedding ceremony would be the same basic template that we’ve heard at a million weddings…we were so wrong! Patty worked with us to design a customized ceremony—with hints of tradition but modern language that felt more meaningful to our relationship. She even personalized the ceremony by including a few of our favorite memories in her opening. The ceremony felt true to us and ended up being one of the most emotional parts of our day. We had multiple guests comment on how much they loved the ceremony and many have requested Patty’s information for their own weddings and vow renewals! Thank you, Patty! -

We are so, so, so incredibly thankful and honored that we had Patty marry us. Before COVID, we were planning on having a family member or friend marry us. When we cut our guest list down to 13 people, we knew that probably wouldn't work for us. We started researching and found Patty who fit all of our requirements. We talked to her for more than an hour on the phone and knew before we hung up that we wanted her to marry us. She became like family during that call! She came to our apartment to meet us, and sat with us as we talked about what we wanted, what we didn't want and gave us options we never even considered (like a red ribbon of fate ceremony - my husband is Asian). Patty was patient, thoughtful and thorough in making sure this was exactly what we had in mind. She helped us create the most perfect ceremony for us, and even gave us a copy to keep. Our friends and families all asked if we knew her before the wedding, and were shocked that we didn't! We love Patty so much, and are incredibly thankful she married us. -

Patty has been absolutely phenomenal! She has years of experience with making meaningful ceremonies with multiple religions, non-denominational, or however you want. We were provided with a binder full of samples to select what most resonated with us for each part of the ceremony. Patty has also been incredibly gracious and flexible during the pandemic, and came to marry us in our backyard so that we could still have a smaller, meaningful vow exchange. Can't recommend Your Wedding Your Way enough! -

When My husband first reached out to Patricia, she was extremely responsive to his inquiry. We booked a consultation and once we met...we absolutely loved Patricia. It is truly wonderful and refreshing to meet someone is kind hearted, pleasant, and just an overall joy to be around. Patricia just felt like family to us. She came with various ideas on different ways we can make our ceremony unique to us, which was really important to us. Patricia was available for any questions or concerns we may have had after the consultation.Again she is extremely responsive. On our wedding day, my husband and I were so relaxed (we had fun) because we knew, with Patricia's help - our ceremony was going to be so special. AND IT WAS!

*BEWARE*
Patty showed up an hour late to our ceremony. The entire wedding was waiting on her, we tried calling several times before she answered the phone.
Things happen, I get that but at least be courteous enough to call or even answer the phone.
We met and corresponded with her several times before the wedding. I told her the day before what time she needed to be there. Totally unacceptable. She will reassure you of everything until the actual day of the ceremony.
She annoyed our guests with her excessive talking and refused to use a standing Microphone, saying she would only use a lapel mic.
Very displeased.
