I first met Wes in 2015. My daughter needed an officiant that would perform an inter-faith marriage. Wes met with my daughter and her finance and together they created a ceremony that respected and honored both faiths. Since then, Wes has married my son, performed a small service and provided comfort and support during my mother's memorial, did a baby blessing for my granddaughter, and he just married me. Each service was unique and special. Wes has become part of our family. I highly recommend him. He always has a smile on his face and works with you to make your ceremony exactly what you want . We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect person to marry us. Our ceremony felt so personal, meaningful, and completely us. Wes made us feel calm, present, and so supported in such a big moment.
On top of that, he went above and beyond by driving our marriage certificate all the way to our town (which is not close to his home at all!) and personally dropping it off that Monday. It was so nice not to have to worry about that, and that extra touch meant more than he probably knows.
We are so grateful for the way he honored our love and helped start our marriage in the most special way. -

Wes was wonderful to work with and offered so many different ceremony options to choose from. We had an online practice session prior to the wedding, which was incredibly helpful. He also kindly offered to attend our rehearsal, but we weren’t able to have one due to scheduling conflicts since many of our wedding party members were traveling from out of state.
Wes truly listened to our requests and thoughtfully customized the ceremony script to fit us perfectly. The sand ceremony was especially sweet and meaningful—it added such a beautiful touch to our wedding. We’re so grateful for how smooth, personal, and heartfelt he made our ceremony. -

Great experience
My wife and I had an amazing ceremony on our wedding day thanks to Wes. He was very professional and well spoken during our ceremony. There was a little trouble with filing our marriage license on behalf of the county. We contacted Wes and he got on it right away. He was able to resolve the issue in just a few days. Wes is amazing!!! When we spoke to Wes for the first time on the phone we knew that we wanted him to officiate our wedding! He was so kind and so positive! Prior to the wedding he made sure that all of our visions were heard and came up with such a beautiful ceremony script. The day of our wedding he was wonderful! Made sure to arrive early and greet the both of us! He was the perfect person for our ceremony. I feel it is so important to have someone who matches your vibe and Wes totally did. He just has this beautiful energy of love and positivity! After the ceremony was complete so many of our guests made sure to tell us how incredible he was! My Husband and I just got married 9.22.24 at Cross Creek Ranch and Wes was amazing . From when we booked him to the very end . Always stayed in touch answering emails and any questions we had . We booked him for our rehearsal and wedding day and he was perfect at both. Many of our guests said it felt like they were watching a hallmark movie with his service during our wedding . We were interested in having Wes as our officiant but unfortunately he was booked already on our wedding day. He told us his wife-Jen was available and if we were interested we could choose her for our day instead! We were a little hesitant at first because there were many reviews for Wes but not much info for Jen..but let me tell you, she was AMAZING and this review is for her ☺️ Jen is so so fun, kind and personable! She made the whole planning process easy and was quick to respond to messages and questions! She made the mood comfortable and didn’t make the ceremony feel stuffy or boring. Her smile alone had everyone else smiling and we are really so happy that she was the one to officiate our wedding!

I actually found him while watching sample videos from the videographer I was planning to hire - the ceremony in the video brought tears to my eyes, so I knew he would be a good fit. I was racking my brain as to how to find a pastor for our wedding - i searched long and hard on wedding wire and finally landed on Pastor Wes! His questionnaire was easy to fill out and the deposit process was just as simple. As time got closer, we just kept emailing and we met in person the day of the wedding. Because he knew so much about us beforehand, there was such a personal spin to our ceremony and the prayer he prayed over us was so sweet and meaningful it brought me to tears. I am so thankful we found Pastor Wes and that we got a photo with him because I truly value the time and effort he put into being with us on our special day. He knew where to stand and when to do it and that also ensured we had our perfect kiss photo. I think that’s so important to mention! -

Wes was an amazing officiant ! So professional and charismatic ! I feel like he made our ceremony so personal! We aren’t typical Sunday church goers so it was nice to be able to select from a variety of ceremony choices. We chose a mix of religious with a wine box ceremony and it was perfect ! The wine box ceremony was such a fun thing for us to do! We wrote letters to one another and placed them in the box during the ceremony!! We chose Wes Morris to perform my daughter’s wedding and we were thrilled with him! It’s a little scary choosing someone so important online, but for us this was a destination wedding and we didn’t know anyone in the Tampa area. We went strictly on reviews, then my daughter and son in law did a phone call with him.
From the minute he walked in for the rehearsal, we loved him! He was friendly and funny and kind. Everyone felt very at ease. He worked with the bride and groom to make the ceremony personal to them.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful! Just the right amount of humor, faith and guidance. Our guests all raved about him and couldn’t believe he hadn’t known the couple forever!

Getting married during a pandemic was definitely stressful and finding an officiant without being able to meet them in person due to COVID was nerve racking. Wes was extremely fast with communication and I knew from our first call that he was a perfect fit for our wedding. Wes made the ceremony personal despite only meeting us in person the day before at the rehearsal. All of our guests assumed we had known him for a long period of time because of how friendly and personable he was. Our ceremony was perfection. We really appreciated that he took the marriage license at the rehearsal so that we wouldn’t have to be bothered with it on our wedding day. I also really appreciated how he stepped the the side before our first kiss for the photographer to get a good shot. Would highly recommend Wes for his friendless, professionalism and helpfulness! -

Blessed with Wes!
We waited until the last minute to finalize an officiant for our wedding. On a recommendation from our wedding venue, Cross Creek Ranch, we contacted Wes Morris and this was definitely a case of " Wes to the Rescue". From our first meeting the day before the ceremony, we just knew we made the best decision. He has a very calming manner that was much needed for us and provided us with multiple ceremony choices from the traditional to the not so traditional and offered assistance in modifying the vows if needed. Our wedding day was truly blessed with Wes! -

I found Wes Morris while searching online for someone to perform a Beach Wedding for us. Most places sent emails back. Wes personally called me and I could tell after speaking with him he was perfect for us. He was very nice and responsive. I did some research on him and Bay Chapel. I could tell by everything that I saw online his Church is pretty similar to mine back home in Indiana. My Church is 1 Church of 13 Campus. It is called Northview with the same kind of Worship and series of speaking. I spoke with him and messaged with him several times. He helped us to find the Beach location that was best and sent us several samples of what we wanted said during our Ceremony. When we met him in person at the Beach he was just as nice and personable as on the phone. During the Ceremony he cut a couple of jokes that we loved! He also said a short Blessing for us! After the Ceremony he took pictures for us also. He would file our marriage license for us but we chose just to take them back to the courthouse so that we could take the offical paperwork back to Indiana with us. Over all we were very satisfied with Wes! We couldnt have chose a better person to perform our Ceremony on our special Day!❤ -

Wes was our life savor for my Husband and I's wedding! My original officiant dropped out of my wedding last minute, and I reached out to Wes hoping he had my wedding date available. He had a wedding an hour before mine that same day and was willing to do my wedding as well since we were in a difficult situation. He truly was the best decision we made as our officiant!
Wes was very professional and personable. He made our wedding ceremony much more comfortable and less stressful! It's like he really knew us and said all the right things to make us less nervous!

Wes was amazing! He is charismatic and friendly. Wes was responsive throughout the process & fully committed to making our day perfect. We chose to save a little bit of money where we could and decided to opt out of having Wes attend our rehearsal. That didn't stop Wes from prepping for our big day. He put together exactly how our vows and ceremony would read and called us to review them just to be certain. He was there prior to our ceremony and dressed up suite and tie, very professional. It was important to us that we prayed for those family members who could not be there on our special day, he did just that (non scripted and from the heart) and showed us he really does care for his clients and is passionate about what he does. Friendly and reliable
When my husband and I decided to have a destination wedding, my biggest concern was hiring vendors without meeting them, especially a pastor. I wanted to hire someone who was reliable, friendly, personable, and who genuinely cared about marrying us. Upon reaching out to Wes, he immediately got back to me and was very friendly. He continued to respond quickly to any additional questions that I had throughout the wedding planning process. He was on time to both the rehearsal and ceremony. Wes was very informative throughout the rehearsal and made sure that we were comfortable with exactly how every step of the ceremony would go. He was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. Wes did such a great job with our wedding ceremony. We were married in a church but didn't want to have a traditional religious wedding. Wes gave us a ton of samples of ceremonies for us to piece together our perfect ceremony. We didn't meet Wes until the day of the wedding but our ceremony was very personable and exactly what we wanted. We wouldn't have chosen anyone else for our wedding if we did it over. -

Wes is authentic and amazing!
We chose Wes last minute because there was confusion with a friend that was going to officiate for our wedding. He was so amazing, really listened to us and what we wanted. His energy is so calming and infectious. He makes you feel like no nerves are necessary. He’s a pastor as well so all the prayers really helped.

Emily Sent on 11/14/2017Wes was just absolutely amazing !! Our venue had messed up our rehearsal time and we didn’t really have the time to rehearse the day before so I was real nervous . But on our big day Wes was so in control and never skipped a beat and made sure everything kept on track . Our ceremony was so beautiful and he added just the right amount of humor to make it fun as well . Can’t say enough good things about Wes, he was a true pleasure to work with and we highly recommend you hire him for your big day !! You won’t be disappointed !!! -

Amy Sent on 01/09/2017Wes Morris was amazing. I highly recommend him. I interviewed 3 people prior to him and booked Wes during our interview!! I knew right away. Wes was always available for a phone call or e-mail, for advice on vowels or just to reiterate that he would be there on our wedding day. Many of my guests made comments about how personable he was and could have sworn that he was a life-long friend to us because of how comfortable, friendly and personal he was. He's also good-looking which is nice for wedding photos (sorry not trying to be superficial, just an added bonus to his amazing personality). Thank you Wes! We truly appreciate your service!
