Easy decision, simple process, and excellent results!

I found Your Story when I was looking for photographers who were happy to shoot smaller weddings. It was a very small wedding with only immediate family. This gave us even more time for couple photos and now we have so many beautiful shots in different environments. We worked with Jason and he was awesome and so easy to work with. Our pictures came back so fast and they look amazing. I highly recommend Your Story for your wedding big or small!

Jason really took the time to make sure the pictures he was taking would be nothing but perfection!! He is a wonderful person and great to work with!! When looking for photographers the obvious path is to look at price and look at their portfolios of previous weddings they shot. With Your Story, the value was there from those two categories but they really proved valuable to us when going through the process of planning our day through an amazing collaboration process. We leaned on them for their experiences and what works best but they made constant effort to hear and included the pieces that were most important for us (notes to parents, first look from father of the bride etc.). Emily was the lead photographer at our wedding and she did an amazing job! We are so happy with how our pictures turned out! We would highly recommend Your Story to anyone!

Excellent Wedding Photographer!

Everyone tells you your wedding day goes by so fast. They weren’t lying! Being able to look back at our day through these photos is something we will always be grateful for. Emily was the utmost professional making sure every photo on our ‘must haves’ list were captured. The prep prior to the wedding was awesome. I was never concerned about the day of details because Your Story and Emily are so organized and provide you with a ton of details prior to your wedding day. Best Wedding Photogs EVER!

Jeremy & Melisa are TOP NOTCH. We highly, highly, highly recommend. Not only are our photos stunning (like seriously, we cannot stop looking at them) the customer service offered was incredible. They were easy to contact, quick to reply, readily accessible, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Our wedding package included engagement photos, which were equally as beautiful. Finding a wedding photographer that we 'clicked with' was the most difficult part of wedding planning for me - until I had my first phone call with Jeremy. I instantly felt comfortable, like I was talking to a friend. I'm trying to figure out what other events we could get photographed so we can see them again, lol (but seriously). HIRE THIS COMPANY! Your Story was the perfect choice for us!

When planning a wedding, you know from the get go the process might be a bumpy road. From our view, every decision was carefully looked over, and thoroughly researched; and why would you not? It’s the biggest day of your life, and you have to find someone who you trust to document ten or so hours of your life that you can’t do a “second take.” And that means everything must be perfect, and while nothing in life is perfect, my wife and I picked the perfect people to document the best day of our lives.

It doesn’t matter if you’re in a business setting, or on a personal level, comfortability is everything, and that is where Jeremy and Melisa shine. It was incredibly reassuring knowing that while so much was going on around us during the day, we could trust them to call the rights shots to make sure everything was photographed and captured Perfectly; and it was.
As your reading this, you know weddings are expensive, and you’ll have to deceiver what works in your budget and what doesn’t. Do yourself and a favor and don’t skimp on the photographers. Throughout the day, Jeremy and Melisa served as of course the photographers, but much more… They guided us and our wedding party through a few hoops, but never lost their cool. In fact, while the wedding party was running late to the ceremony, my wife’s lipstick fell on her dress. While people were understandably freaking out, Melisa kept her cool by pinning the dress, completely concealing the red stain. Meg said Melisa literally saved the day. As the day progressed, my wife and I kept saying to each other how glad we were that we hired “Your Story.”
Their presence was there, but it wasn’t. Jeremy and Melisa captured every moment of the biggest day of our lives while being a fly on the wall. They made suggestions to us, but weren’t pushy. At the end of day, we trusted Jeremy and Melisa to capture and document the most precious 24 hours we’ve ever endured, and they did exactly that, plus some.

“Your Story” isn’t just the name of the company, it’s their backbone and what they stand for…meaning it’s your day, it’s your life, it’s your moment, they just aspire to capture it to the fullest… and they certainly did for that us.

Wedding/ Engagement Photos

We had Jason for both our engagement photos and wedding and loved all of the photos! Jason was very friendly and easy to work with, we had both our dogs for our engagement photos and got great pictures with them. It was a great process the entire time and easy to communicate any questions we had with fast responses! Highly recommend them, they will make your wedding pictures dreams come true!

A must! One of the best parts from our day!

Your Story was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From the first meeting with Jeremy and Austin we felt so immediately comfortable with them, that we walked out knowing we were going to choose them no question! Austin was so friendly and kind and did a great job of making this awkward bride feel comfortable for both our engagement session and our full wedding day. He made our gloomy engagement photo day look like a beautiful sunset photo shoot in the pictures. He was also able to wrangle or wedding crowd with ease and made our photos fun, with some goofy poses thrown in that gave us hilarious photos that were all we ever wanted :) The only bad part was how hard they made it to narrow down photos for our album, as our selection was extensive and all so beautiful!! We highly recommend them for your day! You can’t go wrong!

Beyond Perfect

Any time you organize a wedding you are going to be stressed. ANYONE who has organized a wedding that was supposed to happen during COVID will probably laugh when someone asks if it added any extra craziness to the festivities. Luckily we made the best decision and booked Jeremy + Melissa's company. Our lead photographer was Jason and he was assisted by Jeremy. They blew us away.

From being receptive to our constantly changing plans, to working with us when everything fell apart due to COVID. They were the best! I would recommend them to anyone for any event. True professionals who understand how to manage the timeline of an event, while still making sure the Bride and Groom get to enjoy their entire day....even when there are 8 little kids in the bridal party. ;) Thanks for everything!!

Fantastic Photography Duo

Jeremy and Melissa are a fantastic photography duo. They made the bride and groom feel special throughout the day. Their photos are stunning, fun, creative, wonderful... They really put the bride and groom first (even bringing chocolate along for the bride.) We had a wonderful day and they helped capture all the special moments. They were there for the "getting ready photos" through the wedding, and the reception and even stayed late into the evening to get sunset pictures. We would highly recommend Your Story!

Jeremy and Melisa just shot our third daughter's wedding (this one in Alaska) and words can't begin to describe the incredible array of photos that they took! Tremendous photos and quick to adjust to challenging situations!

Your Story did an amazing job on our wedding photos! Bailey and her assistant Nicole were our photographers, and we communicated regularly with Jeremy, one of the owners. We got married in STL, but live in California now, and having vendors that were easy to work with and as accommodating as Your Story was very important for us. As expected, Bailey and Nicole took beautiful photos, and they did an awesome job getting extra details where we asked them to pay particular attention, such as the wedding dress my now-wife made herself, great details of the Old St. Ferdinand Shrine church where we got married, etc. My wife’s family is big and it’s hard to get everyone together, so there was a lot of pressure to get the big “whole family” picture after the ceremony. When the ceremony ran long and we had to leave the church before getting all of our family photos, Bailey adjusted quickly with a new plan to finish family photos during the cocktail hour and reception and kept us assured we’d get all the shots we wanted. Things were a bit crazy with the tight schedule, the weather disrupting our cocktail hour a little, and guests starting to drink, but Bailey managed to get everybody corralled, kept everyone (including us) calm, and got all the photos we wanted. Bailey and Nicole did a tremendous job. We are so happy we went with Your Story for our photos!

OMG I don't even know where to begin. Jeremy and Melisa are not only amazing photographers but amazing people! As soon as we went to meet them we knew we were going to go with them. They are incredibly knowledgeable, talented and friendly. First we had our engagement session with them. It was such a fun experience and we loved all of our pictures. My fiancé even commented on how it was way less awkward than he thought it would be because they did such a great job at making us feel comfortable. The engagement session made us even more excited for our wedding day! J&M were always there to answer any questions we had throughout the planning and they helped us with all of the little details. They always gave us helpful and honest advice which helped us make a lot of decisions we weren't sure on. When the big day arrived they literally thought of everything. Melisa even brought snacks for us in case we needed them and offered to go pick up coffee for us after the wedding. My sister-in-law put it best, they are more like wedding planners than photographers. They really take care of you! We got a preview of some of our pics just three days after the wedding and they are stunning!! I can't wait to see all of the photos, I know they will be amazing. We have definitely found our forever photographers!

No need to look any further for a photographer. Your Story is simply the best, no other way to say it! From our first meeting with Jeremy and Jason we knew how lucky we were to have found them. Very welcoming, knowledgable, professional, and very friendly people. We had our engagement shoot with Jason. I heard from many other couples how awkward the shoot can be. We actually had a great time with Jason that evening. He was full of life, joking with us, and very talented. For the big day, Jason and Justin were our photographers. They showed up that morning, ready to work, and never stopped. They were both very professional, but I was surprised how much fun we had with them too. Our bridal party was even upset they drove separately and didn't ride the party bus with us in between picture locations. Our day was smooth sailing and perfect, then we got our pictures back. Wow is all we could say. They truly captured the elegance of the entire day. We could not have picked a better photographer for our wedding day and we look forward to working with them again in the future!

When my husband and I started looking for a wedding photographer, we knew that we wanted someone who did amazing work (obviously!) but just as important, we wanted someone someone who we would enjoy spending our day with! We both had previous experiences being in wedding parties where the attitude and personality of the wedding photographer wasn't great, and we saw how easily that could bring down the entire wedding party. We wanted someone who would add to the fun and celebration of our day.

During our search, we met with some great photographers, but as soon as we met with Jeremy and Melisa, we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for! From the first contact over email, it was obvious that they were fun, easy-going, and loved the work they do. Our consult wasn't just discussing the basics, they walked us through our entire day, and let us actually picture what the day would be like. They gave great feedback on things to consider to make the day go as smoothly as possible, and they spent time actually getting to know us and our story! We walked out of our consult knowing they were exactly the photographers we were looking for.

Jeremy and Melisa are really the perfect photographer pair! Jeremy is super organized, easy to get in contact with, and never seems to mind the million questions an anxious bride has! He really remembers and notices every detail (even the hair tie you left on your wrist!) and he makes posing and getting great shots so easy. Melisa is so caring and focused on making sure the bride is calm and happy, from the day you book thru wedding day! She provided tons of great recommendations of other wedding professionals, and truly goes above and beyond to support her brides!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jeremy and Melisa of Your Story. My husband and I love and treasure every photo of our wedding day. Choosing them as our wedding photographers was easily one of the best wedding planning decisions we made.!

Jeremy was already booked more than a year out, so we were told Jason would be our main photographer. We knew when meeting with him that it was a perfect match with Maggie and Jake. That was further evident during engagement photos on a hot humid day in Columbia. Jason put Maggie and Jake completely at ease and the photos exceeded all of our expectations. My fiance and I knew after they spent hours really getting to know us and answering all of our questions during our initial consultation that Jeremy and Melisa were truly the best! As an out of town bride, I have really appreciated Jeremy's quick responses to my emails and Melisa's willingness to recommend various vendors and even speak to them on our behalf. Your Story Photography did an amazing job capturing Our Big Day, and we have so many beautiful pictures to cherish forever! Your Story Photography (or Jeremy and Melisa) are some of the neatest people I have ever met. They were outstanding from the very first moment we met them. After our initial consult, my husband looked at me and said, “book them”. In just one setting, my husband realized their impeccable personalities, professionalism, wedding expertise, and talent (plus he knew that I loved their work and them). Every contact with Jeremy and Melisa was professional, they have a quick response time, and they always went above and beyond for us . As soon as we booked with them, Melisa was eager to give me her cell phone number so I could contact her with any questions. That’s amazing alone, but it doesn’t stop there! They have a Facebook group for all of their brides so that you can reach out to others in the same planning mode as you for suggestions and concerns or for you to lend a hand to another bride. I also attended a “Wednesday, Wine, & Wedding” event at their studio where the brides gather and chat about their weddings, and again, help one another out. All in all, Your Story, is so much more than a photography business…they are flat out amazing people who love helping others make their Big Day special. The end product - our photos from our Engagement Shoot and our Wedding Day are, literally, perfect. I provided a few ideas of backgrounds, styles, and a feel for our photos, and Jeremy knew exactly where to go to accomplish my requests. During our shoots, Jeremy and Melisa made everyone feel very comfortable (this is a must because they are a huge part of your Big Day) because they are relaxed and fun to be around. The poses do not feel awkward, and most of our best shots are of my husband and I just having fun – we didn’t even realize a photo was taken. After the wedding, we received the edited, online photos within 2 weeks. A "must have"!

I loved all of our wedding vendors, but hiring Jeremy and Melisa was the best decision we made during the entire wedding planning process. Not only were our pictures absolutely amazing, but they were so much fun to work with and truly went above and beyond what you would expect from a wedding photographer. They were one of the first vendors we hired, and made recommendations for all of our other vendors based on who they thought wold work best with our personality. This lead to the absolute perfect wedding, and made planning so much easier on us.

We had an amazing wedding planner, but Melisa also stepped up and was so incredibly helpful, making it feel like we had two dedicated and organized coordinators. In addition to the amazing photos (I can't stress that enough), they truly care about the people they work with and want to ensure that you're having the best day and getting all of the photos in all of the locations you want. They even helped to get us onto the Wash U baseball field where my husband played in college, which meant so much to both of us!

The day of our wedding went so smoothly. Jeremy and Melisa helped us stay on track to get all the pictures we wanted, but also made sure we weren’t too overwhelmed by the day and allowed for downtime. Having been in several other weddings, I can easily say that Jeremy and Melisa are the best that you will ever work with and will recommend them to anyone I know that’s getting married. You won’t regret it!

My top 10 reasons you should book these two. 1. Jeremy can capture an amazing shot of you in less than 3 seconds...times that by over 1000 in 8 hours and you won't know what shots to chose from 2. Melisa actually went to my dress fitting to make sure my bustling went well. On her own time and to no cost to me...just cuz she wanted to insure their was no snafus on the big day 3. They have an online group to help brides bounce other vendors and ideas off one another 4. They time manage your event. We never had to worry about looking at a clock or being late 5. They completely ran with your ideas while making them their own. They encourage a pinterest board :) 6. Jeremy gets back to you within 24 hours! This is something that is crucial when you are planning your big day. He is amazing at getting back to you while making you know your concerns/questions aren't silly or stupid 7. They work with special needs groups such as Autism Speaks and Down Syndrome Association (big one for me because I have a sister with special needs and I can honestly say she has never looked more beautiful than through Jeremy's lens) 8. They have a cool professionalism that makes other vendors want to work with them. Their ability to network allowed us to do some special shots on our day at our favorite place 9. They have incredibly fast turn around. We got our engagement shots proofs and wedding day proofs up and online ready to view within 1 and 2 weeks respectively 10. They are a true example of a wedding couple that works together and they love what they do. They made our day so special and I know they will do the same for yours. There shouldn't be any hesitation or questions now right? Well if there is reach out and these two will be right there to answer them. They are the best! Before meeting with Jeremy & Melisa we met with a few other great photographers but something always felt like it was missing. From my first email with Jeremy I knew these guys were something special. After our initial meeting we got in the car, I looked at my now husband and said, "I think I just fell in love with that couple." Photography was a top priority to me so we met with a few other photographers but I was constantly comparing them to Your Story. I knew nothing was going to beat the connection and comfort I felt with these two. I just had the feeling that if we used anyone else and something went wrong I would kick myself for not hiring Your Story. I could not be happier that we followed my instinct! Jeremy and Melisa were amazing from the consultation to the day we picked up our prints! They really are the total package! Not only do we have AMAZING pictures of our wedding, but they really made sure the day went smoothly without my ever having to worry! Throughout the day we received so many compliments from friends and family about Your Story and the compliments continue with everyone we share our pictures with. These two go above and beyond to make you comfortable and to really get to know you to make sure they capture what is important to you and show your personality. The first time I looked through the pictures from the wedding day I couldn't help but cry at the special moments with very special people in our lives, of all the pictures they took that night and all the hugs we gave I was surprised to see that they really captured the ones that meant a little something extra to us. AMAZING! WONDERFUL! FANTASTIC! These words can't even describe how great Jeremy and Melisa are at Your Story! From the minute we met them my now husband and I knew what great and kind people they were!! For our engagement session Jeremy totally went along with some of our crazy ideas! Then, on our wedding day they were very professional, extremely helpful, creative, fun and so kind! Our pictures are amazing! So many of our family and friends were impressed not only with our gorgeous photos but also with how wonderful our photographers were.. corralling 6 kiddos under 4 years old for pictures ..AND keeping them happy! WOW! We would absolutely recommend Jeremy and Melisa to other brides and grooms! We won't hesitate to call Jeremy and Melisa in the future for other photos as our family grows! Best decision we made in our wedding was booking Jeremy and Melisa. Hands down. From their responsiveness and professionalism to their laid-back and fun-loving attitude to the AMAZING pictures they produce, you seriously can’t get better. As somewhat of a neurotic bride, I pored over reviews and websites to ensure I found a photographer who could capture the most important day of our lives. phone call to Jeremy was on Christmas Eve and he sat on the phone with me for 90 minutes patiently answering my questions and, not only asking about my fiancé, but generally caring about what I had to say. I was immediately hooked and booked them a couple of days later. The planning process with J&M was such a breeze and they made us both feel so comfortable, inviting us to their home and sitting with us for over an hour to make sure they got a feel for who we were as a couple and what we were looking for. (And we also got to see a sneak peek at all the other wedding they shot and WOW!) Flash forward to wedding day and Jeremy & Melisa just outdid themselves. They showed up, blended in with the family, made us all laugh, and took some incredible pictures, even helping us pick the locations since both of us are unfamiliar with St. Louis. These two are a rare find in photographers and I consider myself a lucky bride to have had the honor of booking them for my wedding. Just ordered the full album and am over the moon excited to see it coming soon. Thanks again Jeremy and Melisa for helping us capture (and create!) such great memories. Jeremy and Melissa were incredible to work with! Our wedding was such an unforgettable day, and it’s quite something to have it immortalized in such thoughtful photography. Look through their pictures, and you will be able to see what I'm talking about!

My parents went through a very rocky divorce, which was finalized just weeks before our wedding. Naturally, I was somewhat worried about how this would play out on the day of. I think Jeremy and Melissa helped more than they may realize by bringing in their positive energy and expertise. I was able to forget about all of my worries and felt truly happy that day—Jeremy and Melissa were a huge part of that. I think this really speaks to the value of having photographers who are experienced and sensitive. We are so grateful for all the time and effort that they spent on our photos and can't recommend them enough!

Jeremy and Melisa are so amazing!!! Our photographs were one of the most important details to us for our day, and we picked the perfect photographers for the job!! They were onsite ALL DAY on the day of the wedding assisting wherever they could and taking the most amazing pictures! We had a few family members that did not want their picture taken, and Jeremy and Melisa made them feel so comfortable that we got amazing family photos with everyone included!!!! We appreciated everything that Jeremy and Melisa both did for us and we couldn't have had our special day without them! They were more help than most photographers would be, and I highly recommend them to anyone else!!!!

Where to begin?!? Jeremy and Melisa were amazing, from the first phone call to the finished product!

As soon as I got engaged, my mom told me I had to call them. She had recently been a part of a wedding that they had done and the bride had nothing but wonderful things to say about them! I had so many questions and they answered them all and in a timely manner. They were extremely professional and at the same time, they made you feel like family. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and listened to what we wanted.
They were super easy to work with too. All our vendors were very impressed with them as well! Our wedding party consisted of numerous married couples, and wished they had known about them for their special day also!
In a sea of wedding photographers they are truly a gem. We had gone to a wedding show and talked to numerous photographers that tried to sell us on their services. There was no selling needed for Jeremy and Melisa. Their work and reputation speaks for them.
They captured all the special moments and ones in between that we had no idea about! :) We included our dog in both our engagement and wedding day photos which were priceless. They worked great with our pup too!
Now on to the photos...they are absolutely gorgeous. I can't believe how many photos they took!! There was such variety in the photos which is important when you're taking pictures of the same two people all day! Our parents LOVED the photos too and were immediately planning where they can all go in their house.
I'm so glad I trusted my "gut" and went with Jeremy and Melisa. They have given us the wonderful gift of perfectly capturing our wedding day. We will cherish these photos forever.
We also know who we will call for family photos in the future ;)

Besides getting to marry the love of my life, Jeremy & Melissa were the best part of our wedding day! Jeremy and Melissa were absolutely wonderful to work with for our engagement photo session! Our shoot was scheduled for mid-November outside, and it ended up being quite cold with frozen rain that day. Jeremy and Melissa toughed it out to get a few great shots with us in the snow before we decided we needed to reschedule due to the weather. They did not hesitate to accommodate our schedule for another time for the session. Jeremy had wonderful ideas for poses and locations, which made my fiancé and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera. He also did great tailoring the shoot to our taste. Melissa was so nice and helpful offering wedding tips for our big day next year. I hope we will be able to have them as our wedding photographer once we have a date set!

The decision of who to choose for my wedding photographer was very easy. In addition to Jeremy and his wife, and second shooter, Melisa being old family friends, I had seen through Facebook the amazing quality of photos and their high level of professionalism. Through meetings and our engagement session, they really found out what my husband and I were like, and took photos that perfectly represented our style. They were so committed to shooting us in a place that was important to us, that they flew to Boston for our engagement session, and weathered below freezing temperatures with us for an entire afternoon! The pictures turned out incredible, and Jeremy transformed them into an awesome guest book for our ceremony. On our wedding day, in St. Louis, it was sitting at a steady 108 degrees. Jeremy and Melisa made sure we stayed cool all throughout our shots, and I still can't believe how amazing the shots turned out! You would have never guessed how hot it was! Despite the heat, we had a blast shooting with these two--they are truly amazing people both personally and professionally! During the ceremony and reception, they were able to capture such amazing moments without me ever even noticing they were there. I have gotten so many compliments on my engagement and wedding photos, and my husband and I's biggest conflict has been narrowing down which pictures to put in our wedding album because there are just too many great shots to choose from! These two have such an amazing eye and will exceed your wildest expectations! I cannot recommend Your Story enough!

My goodness, where to begin. I adored 99% of the vendors we hired for our wedding - but Jeremy and Melisa are by far and away the best decision we made. For most aspects, it comes down to the couple in terms of who they hire. Not so of Your Story. That's how great they are.

From traveling to Brooklyn to shoot our engagement pictures on our home turf to multiple visits to our very unique ceremony location (the Anheuser-Busch brewery, making us the first ever ceremony there!) and overall hand-holding through the entire process, I could not be more thrilled. Oh and did I mention freaking STUNNING images? We haven't even gotten our pictures back, but based on the sneak peeks and engagement shoot alone, I am totally blown away.

When getting married, you want (and need!) vendors you can trust to do their job. Jeremy and Melisa not only earned our trust to get gorgeous shots, but also to fill in when I needed someone to bustle my dress, manage parental stress, instruct us on how to fill out our marriage license and beyond!

I could really go on and on. But seriously. Look at their work, read the reviews and you should have no doubt that booking Your Story should be the first (and best) hire of your upcoming nuptials!

That's how I view wedding photography, an investment. Your photographers are going to be spending a lot of time with you and be by your side every second of your wedding. So you want to choose someone you can relate to. Jeremy was super laid back yet professional, easy going and a good listener, affordable and accommodating. We were able to meet and talk with him directly, as some studios don't let you meet your photographer before the wedding (yeah right!). His wife Melisa was a second shooter, which I highly recommend, and was an absolute jewel on my wedding day. She fluffed my dress, carried my purse, made sure my lipstick wasn't smudged, and was overall a great asset to have. The two work together marvelously and it shows in the pictures. We were thrilled at the quantity and quality of our photos and were able to keep them all on a flash drive. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Your Story and was one of the best things about our day, keeping us relaxed and stress free! Choose the Keltner's for your wedding! You won't regret it!

If you do one thing for your wedding, book Jeremy with Your Story. It was the best decision we made for our big day. After the day is over, you will want stunning pictures to look back on. He provides this and so much more. It’s amazing how much emotion he captures in the photos. He makes you feel comfortable and like you are hanging out with an old friend. I also had the pleasure of meeting his wife, Melisa. She contacted me about a month before the wedding and asked if I needed anything. She became my go-to for advice. She even came to the rescue and pinned my dress so it would stop falling down. Jeremy and his wife Melissa helped to make our wedding day a wonderful experience. Jeremy was great at keeping in touch throughout all the months leading up to the wedding. I was so impressed that he scheduled a call before the wedding to suggest a timetable for organizing the wedding party and getting everyone to the ceremony and reception that helped immensely. It was so nice to have someone looking out for you and making sure things ran smoothly. He was by far the most professional and impressive vendor I worked with, and I had a lot of great help.
I did not have any suggestions for photographers from friends and family, so I was really disappointed to have try and find a stranger to photograph such a personal event. I could not have had better luck in finding Your Story. Jeremy and Melissa are so relaxed, friendly, and genuine. You know that your day matters nearly as much to them as it does you as they are fully committed and attuned to your needs.
I am a VERY picky person when it comes to art and photography. To say that I was happy with his work would be an understatement. My husband and I were completely blown away! They did such a fantastic job of making our photos intimate and reflective of our personalities and relationship all the while producing a gorgeous shot. I really felt like everything they produced looked like stills pulled from a movie. Everyone who has seen our wedding photos - from family to friends to acquaintances to coworkers - have been equally blown away and impressed. I 100% recommend that you go with this company.

Picking a wedding photographer is so much more than just selecting someone with a good eye for photography. Find someone you truly enjoy spending time with and who makes you feel comfortable because that person will be with you all day, especially during your most intimate moments.

I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about Jeremy from Your Story. He is a genuinely kind, patient and funny guy who listens to your needs and helps you realize a vision (even if you’re like me and barely have any idea what to envision). My husband and I hate having our photo taken; Jeremy did the impossible and made it fun. Our time with Jeremy never felt like a chore and the photos were never forced. Jeremy is just one of those people you can instantly bond with who feels like a long lost friend. And that made all the difference during our photography session. And Jeremy’s calm demeanor & humor really helped me stay relaxed during my wedding day.

And, yes, he is an amazing photographer who captured the essence and spirit of our day, as well as faithfully chronicling the journey from start to finish. I would like to start my review by thanking Jeremy and Melissa for what was the most beautiful day in my daughters life. They were absolutely awesome. So professional and caring. We loved Jeremy from the moment he met with us to discuss her wedding and vision. We actually left the meeting and knew immediately he was the one who would capture the vision she had.

I can not praise him or Melissa enough for all that they did. Besides beautiful photography, he kept the entire process on track and delivered a wonderful experience for the Bride and Groom while not impeding their joy.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for someone who is professional, has an outstanding work ethic and works harmoniously with the Bride and Groom to make sure they have a total and fantastic experience.

My husband and I just got married this past September. Planning a wedding in Illinois all the way from Los Angeles was quite challenging. I thought choosing a photographer was going to be the hardest decision in planning the wedding but wow was I wrong. After searching and searching for photographers in the area we found one that we had to contact. With my husband being a photographer himself he is a bit picky but we loved Jeremy’s style of work so we gave him a call to get more information.

I chatted with Jeremy for an hour and a half! I told him about our wedding vision and what we were looking for in a photographer. He was passionate, professional and had so many great ideas! We really connected and I knew we were on the same page… we booked him immediately!
We also booked an engagement session with Jeremy and it was awesome to work with him before the wedding day. We were able to get more comfortable in front of the camera and loved the images so we were super confident going into the big day!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we are so thankful that we have stunning images that truly captured our big day! The photos are more beautiful than I could have dreamed of. Jeremy truly went above and beyond for us! He came to our location a little bit early to get a feel for the day and get inspired. Jeremy was so great to work with and really made our day special but also run smoothly. Everyone commented on how great our photographers were. Photography was very important to me for my wedding day. Wedding photography is not something that can just be done over if it's not right... It's an important decision! I emailed him and he responded right away and wanted to meet in person to figure out what I really wanted.I gave him an idea of what we wanted and he ran with it. I truly felt like he understood me and what I wanted.
A month went by and our plans changed. My fiance and I decided to elope, but I still wanted wedding photos to commemorate the big event in our lives. So, I contacted Jeremy and let him know what was going on. He was completely flexible and easy to work with. He put us down for a day immediately (even though it was only a month away). I had easy, constant contact with Jeremy. The day of our shoot came and everything seemed to go wrong. So, I called Jeremy right away. He said it was all fine and we could reschedule for the next day. That really put our minds at ease and took the tension off.
Anyway, the actual shoot came up and I let Jeremy pick the spots because I trusted him. We went to the city museum first, then to some interesting back alleyways. These spots fit us compeltely. They were edgy and modern and a little silly. Jeremy nailed it. Plus, during the shoot, my husband and I felt like complete rock stars. Jeremy made us feel amazing.
The best part is that Jeremy just gave me the disk of all the pictures on it so I could do what I wanted with them. There was no pressure to specifically purchase photos from him AT ALL. I was so excited when I got the disk in that I immediately went and printed all of the photos out. Everyone who saw them would gasp and say that they were the best wedding photos they've ever seen, no joke! My husband and I are VERY happy with your story photo art and with Jeremy. Jeremy is flexible, friendly, professional, an artist, reliable and reasonably priced.. Please contact Jeremy and just meet with him. You'll know right away that he really is the best.

I know with weddings, your photos are one the most important things to decide on. I asked around for referrals, but found Jeremy online while looking at his albums. They were realistic and beautiful; there was something different that I saw from him then anyone else. We met up in person (which was awesome!) and he went over what I wanted.... not trying to sell me anything but what I was wanting. After that, he kept in contact with me and was flexible with everything and come my wedding day, him and his wife were amazing and very fun to work with! I've had so many of my customers and work tell me how amazing my photos look and what a great job they did. My family was even pleased with Jeremy and his wife with how nice and approachable they were! I couldn't have found anyone better!

Jeremy with Your Story is AMAZING! When we started our wedding planning my husband and I both agreed that (apart from sharing our wedding day with our family and friends) choosing the photographer was the most important part in the planning process. We had a short 4 month engagement and the photographer was one of the first things I started researching. I immediately LOVED Jeremy's Facebook page and the photos on his blog and website. He is creative and laid back but knew how to keep my husbands groomsmen in line :). He was able to work with our budget and answered tons of emails I sent asking millions of questions. He kept the whole day on schedule and I couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. After everything is said and done, years later, all you have is your memories and your photos. Jeremy couldn't have done a better job saving our memories!

Jeremy is amazing! My husband and I didn't want to deal with making the decision of where we would go for our engagement/wedding pictures and Jeremy took care of all of it for us. He chose the best spots for our pictures and came up with some really creative/beautiful shots. He is very easy going and professional. I couldn't be happier with the decision I made for a photographer, I HIGHLY recommend Jeremy.

I cannot say enough about Your Story Photography!! Jeremy has been our main "go to" photographer for quite some time now!! Engagement, Wedding, Family Pictures, etc!! If we weren't living in England I would be hunting him down for new family pictures once our little one arrives this fall!! :) Jeremy always asks all the right questions to make sure he provides you with the pictures/memories that you will cherish forever!! We have some of the most beautiful pictures from our wedding reception and I can honestly say I did not even notice he was there! ( I mean that in the nicest way possible!!!) He was perfect!! Some of us have the groom (& step-father) who HATE getting their picture taken.. Well Jeremy knows just how to handle these men and makes it as quick and painless as possible!! :) We could not be more happy with the pictures from our wedding!!! Things you should not go the cheap route on for a wedding... #1 is photographer, and Jeremy is the best in the business. As an industry professional, I was very picky with who my wife and I wanted to capture our day. We came across your story, and set up a meeting with Jeremy. Right from the start his warm inviting nature made us comfortable, and it was all amazing from that point on. The photos, and quality of his work are second to none. You would be foolish to not want to work with him. He makes your memories into amazing art, that you can not put a price tag on.

Jeremy was very professional throughout the entire process. Easy to get a hold of and timely with responses. He was also able to keep things fun and provide a very laid back atmosphere during the shoots. Our pictures turned out great and we had a great time working with him.

Jeremy was a wonderful, fun-loving photographer who captured our event perfectly! His outgoing character kept the whole wedding party relaxed and his efficient style only kept us in the heat for brief periods of time (which we greatly appreciated!) He was extremely attentive to our requests and completed our album in a very timely manner. Loved having him as our photographer!

Jeremy was a fantastic photographer! From the moment we sat down with him, to the wedding day, and even beyond he did everything possible to make our wedding memorable and truly went far beyond our expectations! Jeremy is so personable! We had a great experience working with Jeremy and Melisa at Your Story. Jeremy was really flexible and happy to personalize a package for us. He never tried to push anything on us that we weren't interested in. And most importantly, he was genuinely excited to photograph our engagement session, wedding, and day after photos. And that excitement really showed in the final product. We didn't want basic photos that anyone with a digital camera at the wedding could have taken and Jeremy delivered. His photos were beautiful, artistic and everything we wanted. You can tell that photography is more than a job to Jeremy and that he is truly passionate about it as an art form. It also doesn't hurt that Jeremy and Melisa are just awesome people and make taking endless pictures actually enjoyable!

YourStory's photographer, Jeremy, is absolutely AMAZING! We chose him as the photographer for both our engagement and wedding pictures. I couldn't have been happier. His keen eye, artistic flare, and ability to capture beautiful candid moments provided us with breath-taking pictures! Not only is he a talented photographer, but very professional, courteous, prompt, and in-tune with listening to a bride's wishes (which I'm sure is not always easy).

Where do I begin? From the initial meeting until after the wedding Jeremy has been there to help with anything and everything. Jeremy is passionate about photography and his photoart shows it. With Jeremy behind the camera, I had no fear that something would be overlooked or not captured. He is professional and an overall amazing person. There are alot of photographers who try to create a "photjournalistic" look with their wedding pictures. However, they all seemed to pale in comparrison to what I saw from Your Story Photart. Jeremy truly is an artist with an eye for detail, creativity, and the unexpected. Jeremy went the extra mile in every respect for us.
I knew that our decision to work with Your Story was one I would never regret. My husband and I did not want pictures that looked like everyone else's- we wanted pieces of art that we would know were like no other-pictures that would not just sit in an album but that we will hang on our wall as peices of art.
Granted, we had to have the traditional posed family and wedding party pictures, but I could trust that even those would be extra special with Jeremy behind the lense. I knew that he was capturing moments throughout our special day that others would have missed. There were times through the night when I saw even Jeremy climbing on chairs to cpature special moments! However, there are other moments that he captured that I had no idea he was there- but boy I was glad that he was!
We did our after wedding pictures at Union Station downtown. This was truly a wonderful experience! I have heard brides and grooms who complain that their phot shoots were miserable, boring, and that they couldn't wait to end. Not this!! This was a collaborative experience. We bounced ideas off eachother and had a fabulous time! Our pictures are truly gorgeous and one of a kind!

This team is truly amazing. My sister had them for her wedding, and when my husband and I got engaged, we knew there was no question about who we wanted our photographer to be. They sit down with you to get to really know you as a couple, which helps them with capturing such perfect moments. Melisa acts as a wedding planner to her girls -- from going to dress fittings, to helping think of creative reception ideas, to helping you into your dress on your wedding day. I cannot express how much we enjoyed working with Jeremy, Melisa, and Bailey. They really care about their clients & are willing to do above and beyond their photographer duties to make sure your day is what you deserve.

SWEETEST photography couple

Jeremy and Melisa were truly an exceptional team to work with on our wedding day. Their positive attitude and helpfulness, especially Melissa with the bride, made the day less stressful. Melissa is an A+ to this team. She came so prepared with back up items and even bustled the Bride’s whole dress!! Their communication with other vendors was helpful in dictating how the day should go, including keeping us on schedule so that we could take personal breaks to take in the rare, but fast-paced moments of our wedding day together. They also skillfully directed the wedding party and family members, ensuring great shots with excellent timing, lighting and angles. The on-location pictures were stunning, showcasing their expertise of Chandler Hill. While they missed a few personal details, ceremony, and reception shots that we were looking forward to, overall, they beautifully captured other great family moments and specific photo requests throughout the day. The rating should reflect their outstanding work with minor areas for improvement. SWEETEST photography couple that you could ask for!

Jeremy was great to work with. He was very professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire day. Although my day was stressful overall, Jeremy was the only vendor who really seemed to have it together. Our photos turned out great!

Jeremy of Your Story is a super laid-back, easy-to-work-with and fun-loving guy. My husband and I both felt very at ease working with him and I knew we were in good hands. His second photographer was also a real pro. We were delighted to have them both. I would recommend outlining your top priorities. We wanted to get to our guests quickly, but in doing so, I think I may have sacrificed some just smiling "money" shots of my husband and I together (several where one of us looks great... the other... ehhh), total wedding party shots and a few details I'd had liked captured (hence the 4.8, but really, I think if you say those are priorities, then no problem at all!). And still, let me be clear, we had several great shots to choose from, especially his "artsy" pics -- they are simply ahhhhhmazing and Jeremy really made us look our best in those. He's got a great eye and also went the extra mile to bring this vintage couch/chair for some unique poses. We also had such a good experience doing our engagement shoot with Jeremy. He was stellar and creative. Also noteworthy -- he's been helpful through the whole process thus far -- helping us decide photos, creating montages, etc. Two thumbs up!
