And Kandy knows her music. We got Your Perfect Party to DJ our wedding and Kandy brought her A game. We booked Your Perfect Party for our wedding and after the first meeting with Kandy we knew we made the right decision! She was everything you’d hope for in a wedding vendor - reliable, responsive, energetic and organized! She kept the dance floor alive the whole night, the reception on schedule and checked in with us when needed. Her uplighting and dance floor lighting made the reception venue shine! The Photo Booth was a great addition as well, we got the USB in the mail a few days after the wedding as promised. I’d recommend her for any party you’re thinking of having entertainment! All the guests kept complimenting us on the music selections and Kandy was the lady behind it all!

Picture perfect drapery
Kandy at Perfect Party was INCREDIBLE. She met us at our venue for an in-person meeting and took measurements and really took the time to understand our vision. She TRANSFORMED our event center venue into a beautiful wedding venue, I’m so happy I went with her, it really pulled the whole space together!
We did the twinkle lights under our drapery to and it covered our ugly walls with TVs so well! She also draped our two doors and the middle columns. I was so blown away and so impressed!

Perfect Party transformed my daughter’s wedding into a breathtaking event. Kandy turned the ballroom into a stunning masterpiece, executing our vision flawlessly. From start to finish, her professionalism was exceptional. She communicated promptly, responding to emails within hours—often minutes—making the planning process seamless and stress-free.
Kandy also created a beautiful monogram of the bride and groom’s initials, projected on the ballroom wall, adding a special touch. When our band couldn’t provide a microphone for our minister, Kandy stepped in just a week before the wedding, supplying a mic and conducting a sound check before the ceremony. Her attention to detail and quick problem-solving were remarkable.

The best DJ ever
She cared for us during bad weather, and made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. She took care of lighting, curtains, and was an amazing DJ! We were on the hunt for a while for a good DJ for our wedding and heard about Kandy through word of mouth. She immediately started the process with a sit down meeting and laid everything out. Asked us all the right questions and gave good suggestions when we weren’t sure about something. Day of, completely took care of everything. She even confirmed and helped coordinate with our caterer when the ball was dropped at one point during the day. Of all our vendors she was the only one we didn’t have to worry about and could completely rely on. Seriously made our day so special and so stress free. BOOK YOUR PERFECT PARTY. WORTH IT

Truly our perfect party
My wife and I were absolutely blown away by the service provided by Your Perfect Party! We didn't hire a wedding coordinator for the day of, and we were a little nervous about how things were going to flow during the evening, but Kandy acted as our MC for the evening and everything flowed perfectly. We also chose a very specific song to walk down the isle to, and I wasn't really sure how we were going to make it work, but once again Kandy mixed and edited the song so that it was perfect! I would absolutely recommend Your Perfect Party to anyone for any event!

My husband and I had the best experience with your perfect party! Kandy went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. I am very particular about music and Kandy made sure all of my favorite music got played. She also brought lighting and set up the drapery for us. We also had a custom crest that she had made and projected for us. The drapery backdrop was absolutely stunning. I had so many guests commenting about how professional and gorgeous it was. I cannot thank Kandy enough for all of her hard work and dedication to make sure our day was perfect. She was very responsive and communicated with us throughout our entire planning process. Having her there definitely took a weight off of my shoulders. I knew she was a great dj but her backdrops really are GORGEOUS. I am so happy we went with Kandy and your perfect party. Soon as we met Kandy, we immediately knew we’d hire her! She was so attentive to our requests and was very professional with her responses. She was able to show us her lighting services and when I said what genre and time frame I liked, she started naming some artists and songs and I just knew she’d be perfect! Working with Kandy was extremely easy. She is very responsive and ensures she has everything she needs to make our big day special! Kandy's Draping was Perfect!
Kandy with Your Perfect Party did the draping for our wedding, and she was incredible! The draping was absolutely beautiful, and her personality was so calming and enjoyable to be around. She was able to setup the draping the day before our wedding, but she still showed up on the day of the wedding to ensure it stayed wrinkle-free and looked exactly like I wanted. We loved the look of her draping, because it was the perfect amount of thickness (hope that makes sense). It wasn't too thick where it looked like a curtain, and it wasn't too thin where it was see-through. It was the perfect amount of airy and light and exactly the vibe we were going for.
Also, I had a pretty strange setup where we got married on a stage, and the band was going to perform on that same stage during the reception. The band had to setup prior to the wedding ceremony, so we wanted draping in front of the band equipment during the ceremony that would be removed right after the ceremony before the band started. I included a picture of how she set up the draping originally to leave an opening for people to get through during setup, and she gave us an easy way to close the opening before people arrived. Also, she came up with a really quick and easy way to remove the draping after the ceremony, since our guests would still be in that room some during the cocktail hour. Kandy was amazing at helping us figure out the logistics of all of this and made a really complicated situation go incredibly smooth. She was so flexible and adaptable to our needs, and I can tell she truly cared about our wedding and our happiness.
I cannot say enough good things about Kandy and the draping! I would definitely recommend.

She was our DJ on our wedding at the Riverside Event Venue on Jan 21, 2023. She was very kind, professional and easy to work with! :) she gave us alot of options and recommendations for the music and guided us with everything. We had a last minute changes and requested if she could do it for us and voila she pulled it off. We also rented some up lights and those were beautiful, it made our venue even more beautiful. We worked with Kandy for our wedding as our DJ and also had her decorate with lanterns to add some extra romance to our venue. We had such a great experience with her! From the first meeting Kandy put us completely at ease with her professionalism and knowledge. We didn’t have a lot of time to plan the wedding we hired her for, and yet we never felt rushed by her. The event itself had a lot of last minute changes due to unexpected number of guests and inclement weather. Kandy handled it perfectly.
She has an amazing way of reading the room and she knew exactly what music was necessary based on that crowd for everyone to have a good time. We have heard from so many guests how incredibly fun the reception was, and that was due to Kandy. We would HIGHLY recommend!

I would highly recommend Kandy. She was amazing to work with and kept the event running smoothly. She is very accommodating with the many last minute changes and was so sweet and personable. The perfect person for an event such as ours. We loved her. She had so many amazing services and beautiful up lighting. The photo booth she offered is a must do for a large crowd. All of our guests commented on what a great wedding reception we hosted thanks to Kandy. I would recommend her to anyone hosting an important event.

Perfect DJ!
We hired Kandy from Perfect Party, and she was absolutely perfect. She met with us to get an idea of music choices, was very friendly, and responded quickly to a few small changes we requested late. Where she really shined was reading the crowd, and making sure the dance floor was full the entire time! We could not be happier with how well she worked with us!

She delivered on every level.
I can't say enough great things about Kandy. She did a tremendous job providing the music and lighting for our wedding reception. Not only did she play all of our requested songs, she also made great choices that really set the mood of the event, and was able to fulfill all guest song requests. She handled our announcements through the reception and really kept us on our timeline. She is a great communicator and made sure we were happy throughout the evening.
I also though compared to other DJ services in the area, she is less expensive than her competitors.

Truly a perfect party
Kandy came on only two weeks before our wedding and it honestly could not have worked out better. She coordinated the music for both our ceremony and our reception and was the utmost professional. We fell well off our original schedule after the ceremony and Kandy was able to easily adjust timing during the reception and made sure we were able to have the important moments anyway. The music was perfect, the wedding and reception were perfect and Kandy was a significant reason why our wedding will forever be an incredible memory.

We had the best experience at our wedding with Your Perfect Party! Leading up to the event, Kandy was so easy to plan with. She is kind, thoughtful, and professional. She easily accommodated all of our music and draping requests. The decorations were gorgeous and the reception was a blast. We got multiple complements from guests on everything she was involved in. When wedding planning, I feel like it is very important to find a vendor who is excellent at helping you create a plan and then execute that plan. Kandy excelled at both the plan creation and the execution which leads to the perfect finished product. To make it even better, she’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. We had zero complaints and we highly recommend using Your Perfect Party!

We absolutely loved having Kandy as our DJ for our wedding at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. One of the best decisions we made for our big day. She was SO kind, helpful, and thoughtful. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding, she was very responsive and truly thought of everything. I originally heard about Your Perfect Party through another friend who had been to a wedding she DJ'd at – she told me that Kandy got everyone out on the dance floor at an alcohol-free wedding reception. That is hard to do!!! Needless to say, she brought the party – we didn't have enough dance floor space for everyone who was ready to party! She also provided the audio set-up for our ceremony which went so smoothly. Thank you Kandy for making our wedding day SO MUCH FUN!

Kandy is very fun and professional. I knew just by talking to her on the phone that she was The One! We had a mixed crowd from young kids, to people in their late 70's. She was able to make the reception fun for everybody. We met with her in person once before the wedding to go over the wide range of music we wanted, and to get some suggestions. Beyond my expectations
So happy I found Kandy and she was available to decorate for our wedding. She and her crew turned an old gymnasium into a beautiful, magical venue. She is the most sweetest person and I appreciated how she genuinely wanted to make make sure everything was perfect. She worked with our budget and went above and beyond. Kandy met me and my wedding director on short notice, listened to our vision, and then quickly added thoughts and ideas. She was very prompt with her pricing details and comparing to other quotes, very reasonable. She went above and beyond at the venue by making a couple of trips to ensure everything was perfect. Sweet as Kandy
Since my husband and I had scheduled our wedding day 3 months after we got engaged, we were obviously stressing over how to plan everything, including music—-one of the most important aspects of your wedding day. Kandy, at Your Perfect Party was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was our DJ, did our Uplights, and also had the most amazing photo booth complete with props at my daughter's wedding. She gave us so many suggestions for songs and other things at the wedding. She made everything flow smoothly before and after the wedding. She also suggested fixing plates for the couple and letting them eat before they were introduced, which helped immensely, because if anyone who has attended a wedding know, the couple NEVER has time to eat. She organized everything relating to her part in the wedding, my daughter had music suggestions from all of her guests on her RSVP cards and Kandy put them into the song lists seamlessly. She has an organized time line for everything that is to happen from introductions, to special dances, to cutting of the cake, to the Auburn Shaker send off. We are very pleased with Kandy. She is reasonable in price, organized, and very, very helpful! I would most certainly recommend her to any and everyone! No complaints whatsoever, completely perfect! They truly made our night perfect!
Our entire experience with Your Perfect Party was wonderful. We worked primarily with Kandy - she's very sweet and professional. We were primarily interested in them for their DJ services, but chose to have them do uplighting and a photo booth for our wedding, as well. It's great that they offer so many different services - really makes the planning process easier. Kandy was a great DJ! Kept people on the floor all night. Her colleague running the photo booth (I never caught his name, unfortunately) was friendly and professional. They had great props and even worked with us to create a custom green screen background for the photobooth photos. My husband and I highly, highly recommend them for your wedding!

The perfect reception
Everything was wonderful! She found the exact right drapery and lighting to match our colors. The room was beautiful. The music was perfect. She really worked with us to find out exactly what we were looking for in all aspects. Very professional and organized. She helped us organize parts of the evening that we hadn't even considered. Kandy was a big reason why our magical evening was so successful. Highest recommendation.

Hands down, BEST DJ and Day of Coordinator a bride could ever ask for! From the moment I met Kandy, her warmth and charisma, I just knew I had to have her as my DJ and Day of Coordinator. She was so organized and detailed, I knew my special day would go perfectly - and it did! She is truly passionate about her work and cares deeply for each of her brides. From the color of drapes, cake cutting song, to the bubble machine grand exit and even a complimentary Zumba class to shimmy and shake out all the nerves prior to the wedding she was there and handling all of the essential details. Thank you, Yourperfectparty & Kandy for being part of my special day and making it so incredible!

Kandy took such good care of us!! From our first meeting and asking even questions I hadn’t thought of, to specific arrangements regarding the ceremony and music for the big day, she was so helpful! Several guests told me that they really enjoyed the music selection, and it was the right mix of fun listening music and a little dance music in there to get the crowd moving! Everything was perfect and she even sent us a CD of some of the music and our ceremony! Compared to other DJ services in Huntsville she is by far the best deal! We opted for basic DJ and ceremony services, but it was nice knowing she was capable of so much more services had we needed them! Highly recommend Your Perfect Party for any party/wedding needs!

Kandy was so easy to work with! We used pink uplighting around our reception hall, and the guests just went on and on about how beautiful the lights were. They really brought the room together! She was always quick to respond to emails and absolutely helped make our wedding a dream come true.

Kandy was a pleasure to work with! She is such a sweet, polite woman. We didn’t book her until the last minute, but she was very quick to help and adjust her schedule so she could give us everything we wanted and more! Draping and lighting were last minute touches, like I mentioned, but they really do make a difference! She worked well with our other vendors too! Thank you Kandy!!!

Finding Kandy was an absolute blessing! She not only DJ'd our wedding, she jumped in and took on the role of coordinator making the whole night flow perfectly from beginning to end! She was extremely responsive throughout the whole planning time, and made sure to meet with us every time we were in town. I cannot recommend her enough if you want the perfect wedding experience!

Kandy with YPP is fabulous. We knew from our first meeting with her that we were in the best hands. She is insanely organized and on top of every detail, and she made myself and my parents feel so at ease! She walked us through every step of the reception and and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She was so easy to get in touch with, and she made sure to clarify anything and everything beforehand. No detail was missed. She was even able to supply us with ceremony sound the day of our wedding at a last minutes notice. She saved our ceremony music! During the reception she was able to go with the flow and gauge the crowd at every moment, and was extremely flexible when we wanted to change up the order of things on the fly based on our crowd. It flowed seamlessly. I highly recommend this amazing company for any of your wedding needs! 10/10 stars.

I don't even know where to begin when describing my amazing experience working with Kandy from Your Perfect Party. She helped make our wedding as perfect as it could be and we could not be any happier! Not only was she extremely informative on the "how, who, what, when, why, and where" questions pertaining to wedding ceremonies/receptions, but she also was quick at responding to any questions I sent her and she helped us easily create our song list. She kept our guests dancing all night long and they all really enjoyed themselves. I even had guests ask for the DJ's contact info because she did so well. Kandy, thank you!!!!!!

Kandy exceeded all of my expectations for my wedding plus more. She knew exactly what songs to play without me giving her a playlist and she made sure the music she played matched the theme I wanted for my wedding! She was very accommodating and responsive to all of my questions. She was timely and professional. She made my wedding exactly how I wanted it! She made sure that my reception went smoothly and somehow coordinated all the events in a manner that I was not stressed at all! All of my guests were on the dance floor and all of my guests kept complimenting Kandy on how well of a DJ she was. She was a dream to work with and I recommend her to anyone that is in search of a DJ for ANY events! You will not regret hiring her, I PROMISE!

I could not recommend Kandy more! She was amazing to work with, listening to what we wanted while also having a ton of suggestions for song choices/ ordering of events when we weren't sure what we wanted. She led the reception the whole time, guiding us through so we didn't have to worry about anything. She was incredibly nice and considerate throughout the evening, always telling us what the next thing was but making sure we were ready to move onto it or giving us more time if we asked for it. The perfect combination of organized/ on-track while still going with the flow of the evening. The music was amazing and flowed throughout the evening, everyone had a great time on the dance floor! If your planning on having a DJ, I would highly recommend Kandy :)

Kandi was EXTREMELY awesome. When taking the first step to researching uplighting for my reception; I kept coming upon vendors that were extremely expensive and not willing to work with my budget at all. Luckily I was able to find “Your Perfect Party” and by the reviews she had, I decided to meet with her and take a chance. From the moment I sat down with Kandi, she LISTENED to exactly what I wanted and how I wanted the overall look of my wedding. She was extremely professional, prompt, and fulfilled the overall look of lighting at my reception. I would recommend Kandi, and Your Perfect Party to anyone who is looking for someone who is professional, prompt, affordable, and will go over and beyond to make sure that your wedding and look is a dream come true. She definitely made my day magical!

Kandy of Your Perfect Party is very professional, yet approachable, fun and full of excitement when helping us plan our music playlist for our wedding day. She is readily available and promptly responds to any questions or concerns. As our wedding day drew nearer, my wife and I realized we forgot to include the Gobo(glass piece with bride and groom name for projected display during reception-I had no idea what it was called prior). Yet Kandy did her due dilligence to help ensure it would arrive on time for the wedding and it did! On the day of the wedding, Kandy and Diane, who oversaw the photobooth(we added this to our services), arrived early and were very ready for the day. Throughout the evening, Kandy transitioned well from one song to the next and knew very well when to play music encouraging others to join us on the floor. Diane handled all photobooth duties fantastically. A vast array of headgear and glasses were available to help all of us show off our goofy side. Overall, YPP made our wedding day THE perfect party. There's no question, hands down the best DJ you'll find. We didn't have a wedding coordinator and Kandy was more than willing to help our untraditional wedding plans, she even made some amazing recommendations to help us keep it personalized to us. She stayed in constant contact with us and immediately responsive. She was kind, sweet, beautiful, and flawlessly professional. The day of the wedding she helped us figure out our rain delay. Our Chicago Bulls style intro went off without a hitch because of her. She was the stage mom that made our wedding appear seamless despite all the firefighting. I would recommend you book her immediately. Her services are invaluable. Kandy, you rocked our socks off!
